  • •Thank you for all who attended the premiere of our film "Rethinking Death: Exploring What Happens When We Die" and following panel discussion.
Moderated by Dr. Sam Parnia, the panel discussion brought together experts at the forefront of this cutting-edge research to explore how science is shifting the paradigm of our understanding of death, what this means for future medical techniques and therapies, and the implications this has on society as a whole.
A special thank you to our panelists:
    • Dr. Sam Parnia, Director of Critical Care and Resuscitation Research at NYU Langone Health
    • Dr. Robert Montgomery, Director of the NYU Langone Transplant Institute
    • Dr. Tom Aufdherheide, Director of the Resuscitation Research Center at the Medical College of Wisconsin
    • Dr. Lindsey Gurin, Assistant professor of neurology and psychiatry at NYU Grossman School of Medicine
    • Dr. David Andrijevic, Associate Research Scientist in Neuroscience at Yale School of Medicine

Thanks for sharing the discussion. May I ask about when would your paper about these findings be published? I have seen the preprint version of it , and expecting to read a full version.

Very interesting, especially the end (and the sound was best there too).

I hope this helps! (For everyone wondering how can they understand what's being said if the sound is messy) --->
    Turn the subtitles ON.
Reason why: as far as I've watched and read them, they seem correct and make sense.
    Have a nice day everyone ^ ^ ♡
+ A huge, enormous thank you to Sam Parnia and his team, and overall to every single doctor (such as my mom) scientist and professional actually giving importance to and caring for these very relevant issues, trying to solve these humanistic and philosophical, metaphysical questions.
Imagine the radical change the world would experience. This is really so interesting (to me, at least): imagine that the ones who uncover the deepest mysteries of Reality and Existence aren't physicists, mathematicians or philosophers, but DOCTORS xd It would be amazing if it happened so.
PS. ~ I hope everything's going well with the documentary that is about to be released :) I've been waiting for months for it to be released, and I know I'm not the only one, but let's not be impatient, everyone. Quality over quantity, remember.

I don't mean to sound ungrateful for posting this panel discussion, but the audio, as you probably know, is extremely poor. Not even close captioning can properly discern what's being said most of the time. Can you do anything about this? Thanks.

This is a symptom of the fact that our fellow humans rather invest billions into bombing people rather than some good microphones for scientists who try to probe the sad state of our existence where we die without knowing where we go and what the hell is really going on in this incoherent reality!

At death do we have access to other areas of our brain or of our consciousness? Because these are potentially 2 different things
