Brain Disinhibition and Recalled Experiences of Death

With death, blood flow and oxygen to the brain stops and the brain flatlines. This removes the brain's natural braking systems, enables activity in dormant parts, seen as spikes on brain monitoring devices. These spikes in brain waves consistent with thinking, memory, and consciousness can now be thought of as possible markers of recalled experiences of death. To learn more, head over to Resusc...

Hello Sir, I Visited your RUclips channel and noticed it ranks lower than others. SEO seems to be lacking, though your content is fantastic . Wondering why your videos aren't attracting more views? One key factor is insufficient SEO (your videos' SEO score is 19/100%, that's why your video is not reaching out to the people and you do not have many subscribers, views, likes, watch time, and comments. I also noticed that your video thumbnail was good. If you'd like, I can assist you with improving it. I think your RUclips channel will make your dream come true. I am waiting for your response.

The mystery of life, the wanting to know what happens next? there is so much to explore. Is there life after death? This study reminded me of a story my late mother shared; where when she was being operated and when home shared with me "That she was over the operating table looking down in spirit watching the doctors operating on her during her operation" I was intrigued and listened with awe...Thank you for sharing this study.

I devoured Dr Parnias books after my mother died. I had such a furious desire to understand what happened after death. His research is so interesting, so valuable. I know he had a struggle obtaining funding because of the difficulty of proving his theories, but he now has a lab and I hope is replete with funding.

Still doesn’t prove life after full brain death. They even admit brain takes hours to die. Once dead, how do we assume a life continue? Does the two hour till full brain death or longer result in time dilation where you could live forever?

A child can hold their breath until they pass out...kids are real tough...mind over matter. Now you know know how peaceful it is to drown. Hypothermia is a cold core temp. Weak humans die...everytime. Drownings cannot be alive. They panic and sink or too are cold to think. Ice hurts like heat??? Psychology is a big piece of the puzzle of death. Brains die...beings do not. Time is fake. You are going to grow up later. When you're dead. Funny yet? Hmmmmm

Thats why i was addicted to it. I was very depressed. Now mind you i was gone for 56 minutes but my friend gave me chest comps and cpr. He's the one that saved me....narcane all other times... We are calling a lot of deaths....deaths way before...should be mandatory 8 hours cpr...comps done in turns...lots of people would come back guarantee. My memory was erased for a while.... I want him to be ready for the left field events that are likely to occur when he becomes a doctor and be ready to demonstrate empathy. Lovely production and comes across in a very objective scientific way.

Lost all my fear of passing some 25+ years ago. Religion could not convince me any of its stories we're real and true. (Something is terribly wrong here) NDE's made perfect sense the moment I heard my first one. Made all my past experiences understandable. Everything started to make sense and coming together. Reincarnation, Paranormal, OBE's... I'm almost at that place for me to move and I can't wait. It's like I'm going to go home or something I know well. Giddy-up!

Few yrs ago i died, came back. I remeber nothing of it. Happened on the surgery table, my gull blatter had gone necrotic, and being the stubborn fool i am, i just thought i was sick, so.e tine around day 5 i drove 200 km or so to a hospital for help i dont remeber doing that. All i remeber is waking up in another town in a hospital bed. My last memory was being really sick at my grandmothers then waking up in a hospital. I died on that table i was told. I never saw any bright light, my ancestors didnt come to greet me and send me back, no angels or demons, i would have suspected the latter due to my old life style. But i will say this. Before this i had a fear of dieing, now i have zero fear, almost a peacefull accepting that one day it will happen. While i dont fear death , i dont welcome it ether. So thats all i got to take away from it. Literally since i lost my gull blatter , i just gained a peaceful accepting of death. I feel cheated in a way, since i had heard , like most of you of beautiful lights, and out of body experiences. Yep, none of that for me. And maybe thats good, a little mystery is good i think.

Supposedly only roughly 25% experience NDE or RED. There was an experiment done where a digital clock with lighted red numbers was placed in an operating room facing up where it could only be seen by someone who was flat against the ceiling. When patients who had reported their NDE described what they saw, nobody mentioned the clock. I believe that surrendering to your deepest fear, which is of course dying, the feeling of euphoria is overwhelming and plays a part in the NDE. It might explain why the majority do not experience this. They didn’t have the opportunity to give in to their greatest fear. There is no mention in this of the profoundly negative NDE experiences that some people have as well. This is all IMHO the process of dying. I doubt very seriously that there is any realization hours after the brain has completed that process. Of course at that point nobody could “come back” to explain anything.

So often in these nde stories some try to discredit "religion", which is just a man made word. The more accurate word is "spiritually", just as these encounters with the other side vary considerably, so is people's ability to experience GOD. Please, just because you may be atheist or agnostic, don't discredit the existence of GOD just because you haven't experienced HIM. HE has revealed HIMSELF for millenia to millions all over the world in many different "religions".

Is the fact, at a point when the patient cannot be saved, tracing the fate of what used to be called consciousness and any game plans to trace it ( post mortem)? If so, where can we see the results if any? Is there a possibility that at this juncture alpha, theta, delta and Gamma rays (10:37 plus) may be going through a morphing phase and joining in a non-local repository ? I can try to explain better, if i am contacted! This may be explanation about 12 min, unknown! Thank you!

I remember reading somewhere that as it happens when we sleep, when a person dies an amount of dimethyltryptamine (DMT) Is released into the brain and has been proposed that is what triggers these near death experiences. As a person who has used DMT for "recreational" purposes i must say it was the most intense and the most "real" experience i had in my life. You are shown how you are somehow connected into everything and without expecting it, you come to the realization that our actual home is in the "spirit" or immaterial realm to put it one way. It may be that DMT has a part to play or maybe these near death experiences are caused by a total different phenomenon because what does intrigue me is the fact that some people report flying or hovering over their lifeless body and being able to recall everything that happened and what was said by others and even felt by others while that seemingly was impossible. Nevertheless, what this phenomenon provoked in me is my confirmation of the upmost respect for life but most importantly the fear of death evaporated almost completely and im sure this is how these people who have experienced near death think alike. Appreciation of our lifes here on Earth and the expectation that when we definitely and definitively leave our physical bodies we have yet much more to expect.

It has been 42 years since my car went into a ice covered river. I was in the water 12 minutes before they could get to me. I died from a core body temperature of 84 degrees F (hypothermia), but they kept doing CPR. At the hospital they did what is described here. They pumped my blood from one femoral artery through a machine, then into another artery. They didn't tell me about this blood machine, I saw it. I also saw the nurses adding a blanket that was heated by another machine. I coded 6 times that night. My eyes had never opened until the third day, after I became stable. After a week I was released from the hospital with no real definitive brain damage. I was 21 then (1981), and in 2008 I had several mini strokes from different reasons including carbon monoxide poisoning and med interactions. I am considered 100% mentally disabled, and 85% physically disabled. I now have bone cancer after going through prostate cancer 9 years ago. Someone wants me alive & if not for great health insurance, I would be gone already. My medical bills were approx. $750,000 last year and just one of my meds cost $14,547.85 every month, which my insurance pays all of my bills. I could not be happier to be alive, even after all of the suffering I have endured (only 10% was stated here, others are too graphic for RUclips). My life is in Jesus's hands.

This seems theoretically that body is kind of biological machine. If you can repair, change all ‘damaged’ parts than we can extend ‘life’ of ‘machine’ even to indefinite time. According to my ‘life’ ‘experience’. I supposed to dead many times but I’m still living thanks to doctors & medical science. I had tuberculosis many years ago but because of treatment I survived, at time of ‘covid’ I was keeping oximeter, I was looking good but suddenly my oxygen started decreasing, I was in full seat I couldn’t even stand or walk, it was going down to 65 or 70 than I keep breathing deep till I got to 90, I was so exhausted, when I stop breathing deeply my oxygen was starting down. Somehow we managed to reach hospital, I had Covid infection or pneumonia I remained on oxygen for four days.after that I have some heart attacks, bypass surgery etc I manage to reach hospital at critical time doctors saved my life. I’m feeling and behaving like nothing happened but in reality those near death experiences was horrible I was crying, yelling for help me, my body was in pool of seat, I was feeling like my body is burning, my heart was irratic, fast or may be wasn’t pumping normally, I was one breath away, I kept pushing,no option to give up, I kept fighting,I was so tired, depressed, at some moment I thought that’s it now you are going to be dead, give up, nothing left than I remember my family members and thought you will lose all this and I said no way keep trying till possible. Now I’m watching this documentary, which I suppose to do not watch this video & subject making my heart fast and I’m feeling burning sensation on my forearms, soldiers, chest & back, I’m ok this happenes sometimes when in sensational situation and now I can keep control of my mind that time and I got relaxed after some hours after taking sleep. Now I just watch half of documentary and sharing my opinion & experience now I’m leaving documentary in half and going to take some rest. ❤
