I love how your husband was audio describing everything that he was saying do you! That was so stinking precious and my favorite part about the whole video! I wonder if there is a way to possibly hook up a microphone to him so that we all with low vision could hear what he was saying to you to make watching the video that much more interactive?
Thank you! He really is great about describing everything to me. That’s a good idea. In my last vlog I had him describe the videos to me and I went back and recorded voice overs for the video so that it was audio described. It wouldn’t have worked in this one because our voices would’ve collided with each other. But I do wish all of my visually impaired viewers could hear him in the video more clearly. Maybe next time we can do something like that
My wife and I enjoyed watching this video very much! Last time we went to Disney World it was before the pandemic and we also stayed at Coronado Springs, it was the new Destino Tower which is magnificent. I have RP and she narrates things to me just like your husband. I take hearing protection because some of the rides can get pretty loud, specially the Universal Harry Potter rides. I was almost deaf after those hahaha. Please keep posting travel videos, it's nice seeing others enjoy traveling!
What fun this was! 20 years ago, I would have found the Disney stuff super corny, but now at nearly 45, I would relish the opportunity to feed my inner child. Yeah, that Florida heat is unreal, especially this time of year. One of the few things I don’t miss about living there. 😉🥵
I love Disney world! I also have RP and my husband and I have taken our daughter twice to Disney World! We are planning a trip to Universal next summer 2020to our daughter is now 12 and super into Harry Potter! This was super helpful! And I have to say the handicap assistance at Disney World is fabulous! We were able to take advantage of unlimited fast passes so I could have assistance with rides. Does Universal do anything like that? Do they have any handicap accessible offerings for the blind? One thing I haven’t started to research yet in planning our trip! Thank you so much for your content! I have made my daughter watch you among other blind RUclips contributors and we both really enjoy everything all of the community puts out into the world! It is always awesome to prove to her she is not the only kid with a blind parent!!😍
I have been to Disney Land in California and Disney's California Adventure and I loved riding the Monorail, Tower of Terror, Sorrin Over California, Toy Story, Buz Lightyear. Small World and I even remember riding on the Jungle Book Cruse and the big boat that was the one in Tom Soyer. I'm glad you had a great time. It would be nice to visit Disney again but since I have a very low immune system it still is not safe for me to do so even know I am fully vaccinated?

That’s awesome! And yes universal has a disability pass that’s very similar to the one at Disney. I hope y’all have a great time!
Hópe you had a great time ...looks good.
Thanks for sharing your time trip with us. Hope you both had a great time.

Those are all great. Tower of terror is one of my favorites. Hopefully it will be safe for you to travel again soon
I hope you had a great time Cayla it seemed like you had fun. How much was it for the trip?
Thank you! I’m honestly not sure how much it was after you add everything up
How was it using your cane and Disney
It’s great. It definitely helps to get around, and the cast members are especially helpful when they see me with it
Hi Cayla hav you tried the e sigt? Too expensive 10 to 15k Im dreaming buying an e sight for me.😀
No I haven’t tried it. I’ve tried the acesight and Iris vision which are really similar though
