Thank you for your openness. Your story brought me back to when I had my first baby 24 years ago ❤️. My blindness has given me two kids who are kind, patient, non judgmental, and helpful ❤️. Enjoy your little one; they do grow up way too fast. ❤

Amen 🩷 Amen 🩷 Amen 💞 Love you and love this video! Thank you for normalizing the difficulty in bonding after baby is born. Thank you for sharing the good and the bad. Thank you for speaking on so many aspects of childbirth. Unfortunately, I didn’t do enough research and was very blindsided. No pun intended, by a lot that happened to me. Awesome suggestions to really know and trust your OB and to hire a Doula if possible. Even with the greatest of husbands, it is hard for them to be husband, father to be, and advocate at the same time. If we are blessed with another, I will definitely have a Doula and make sure my OB is much more trustworthy. You spoke on so many great points! Thank you again for sharing your story! 🩷 Looking forward to future episodes! You are amazing momma!

I am so proud of you that you were not anxious and you tolerated the pain, for me every time I give birth I get super anxious although I have experienced it before so well done brave mommy, you are the best❤❤❤ Also my first time giving birth I was as exhausted as you can describe and I couldn't feel the magic of the moment too, it's natural, we love them more every day that goes by, that's the important thing💓💓

Even though I’m sighted, I had a similar experience as you when they put my girl on my chest. I mostly remember the ‘fishy’ feeling. 😅 I needed MONTHS to be able to bond with her. And since we know her exact condition, I was able to close that chapter of my life and now we are best buddies. ❤

Hi, I’m 23. One day I would like to have a child on my own. I’ve been looking at videos of blind moms because I am blind and I want to know what it’s like and this is the first video that I found.
