The ultrasteady mode seems to be a crop from the ultrawide camera, you can test by covering the other lenses.
The main camera is only used in 1x zoom in video, other zoom levels use the telephoto but perhaps there is some compositing in video mode as with the capture fusion in photo mode?

Interesting. If that's the case, I don't know what's causing the wobbly effect on the lower half of the video.

As correctly mentioned by @westridingwanderer , the UltraSteady mode is using the UW sensor without OIS. So it's most likely a software part that is not fully optimised.

already tested the new update. OIS/EIS is disabled in Pro mode while Capture Fusion (3x/4x in Photo mode) use it. I prefer this way since there are times I prefer actual sensor output
also digital zoom is quite usable now with post-processing added. 20x needs steady hands though since shaky hands will introduce smearing on the output

In Pro mode the main camera is not used at 3x & 4x.

Great video! I am waiting for rumors on "Moon Knight". Currently using XR21 and I like it a lot. So not sure if I will buy Skyline just yet.

Many thanks for the review of the case. I haven't succeeded in finding one in HMD Australia, so I ordered one through Hmd in Britain and having it sent to a relative who will post it over to me. I take it that this case does have the additional magnet in it? I managed to get the Skyline $200 off and I'm a little disappointed in the processor speed being a user of Snapdragon 8 gen 1 on my nothing phone 2 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Galaxy S24 Ultra. They've given us 12 gigabytes of RAM but I don't understand why they couldn't have put at least a Snapdragon 8 gen 1. Can understand that the battery wouldn't last as long but such a lovely phone deserves a better processor

Yes, agree. Flagship all glass (back & front} specs. What were HMD thinking of putting 12 gb of ram with a hugely under powered processor. And it's expandable by up to another 12gb ram. Now we can open this phone up and change the battery. Any chance of bumping up the processor to a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.
