Just ordered one for the price I'm paying £126 in Dec 2024 the specs for it are better than I have on my current phone a Samsung a12 I bought for in 2021 for a £196 then still works perfect but needed a a new phone for more ram and more phone storage so I'm happy the price I'm paying for better phone than I have for cheaper now lol

I'm seeing the 8.3 5G going for $170 USD, a year since your video, at least through Google. Would search dogpile & others if security patches hadn't stopped in '23. Apparently, Nokia 8.3 5G isn't compatible with Verizon or their sister company Visible.

I recommend a fitting screwdriver to open the backcover. That goes really convenient and there is no need to ruin the nails.

I bought the Skyline 256gb/12gb in topaz a couple of weeks ago. Really happy with the phone. Looks great, works great, and im more than happy with the price i paid. I have had a number of Nokia products under HMD (nokia 8, 8.3 and X30 as well as the skyline) and ive been happy with them all. In the UK most mid range and premium smartphones are taken out with a phone contract with rhe network. So unless you want an iphone/samsung/pixel - you wont find the phone you want on these contracts, and it will hobble any other phone manufacturer. Nobody I know has heard of HMD. I dont care. I enjoy having something different to the masses 🙂

Honestly speaking if Nokia can bring a phone with Qwerty Keypad and at least 16 MP at back.and 8 MP at front, I will immediately buy it. It will be sufficient for office work.

How can I purchase HMD Skyline back cover...

I really look forward for HMD Skyline however upon seeing the video recording performance, it turned me off. It was very bad, the stabilization is very poor, the video is stuttering and the image is sucks. Even my almost 2 years Redmi 12 Pro have better video recording performance and yet it priced almost 1k below Skyline.

Hi, I bought this phone for my mom and I was trying to personalize the homescreen. I want there only contacts, menu and lock screen option. But i can't find a way how to do it, I remember I once was able to do it on my older Nokia, but now I'm stuck with "go to" and "camera" options on home screen. Also, is it possible for the phone to lock itself when the screen goes dark?

Why on earth this controller does not have Bluetooth connection! I get that the pogo pins will connect the Fusion but now one will buy this controller to play cloud games on a 720p IPS display. This is DOA. Moto Z phones at least had o 1080p oled displays and a controller that molded like the phones.

Its good for the price. I've bought it. I have also buy sd card 16gb and download some wallpaper and mp3. The flashlight is good and the sound is loud enough.
