Just a few notes for the 1st gen I bought one recently myself towing capacity for the 4cyl was 2000-2500 depending on if you got the towing package or not, the V6 could tow 3000-3500 depending on the towing package again. I love my Highlander, off roads relatively well mines a V6 plenty of power gas mileage is alright surprisingly nimble for its size I really love it would definitely buy another
You missed the line: "I have been alive for four and a half decades. If you change my oil, I can not die." Also, I find it interesting that the Highlander is called the Kluger in other markets, and Connor's nemesis in the movie was Victor Kruger (The Krugan). Close, if just one letter off.
