Does it appear that the Judiciary is under immense pressure of the CPM Secretary Govindan, and his Guru Pinarai as obvious from the delay and hesitant attitude of the judge, and as indicated by his inability to decide the transfer of the murder case to CBI. After all it is a small decision as to who should investigate, in the context of the deliberately dragged investigation style of the Kerala Police. Pinarai and Govindan are extremely worried that the CBI will first question why all evidences have been destroyed by the Kerala Police. It appears that Pinarai has conveyed his concern to his counterparts in the Judiciary, who are finding themselves thrown between the Devil and the Deep sea. If the case happens to go to the CBI, both Pinarai and Govindan are well aware that their role in the murder will come out to light and that the two CPM Leaders will have to spend the rest of their lives, in one of the jails for the well planned cold blooded murder. Of course, Divya will share her presence with them in the same cell.
