I used potatoes to get rid of a dark spot on my leg and it worked like a charm! It took 3months to go away. It was a brand new scar. Also I'm Afro American with dark brown skin close to a dark penny.

I think that changing your diet is the most important thing. Some amazing products are; tea tree oil, raw honey, raw manuka honey, olive oil, and raw apple cider vinegar. They work so much better than that neutrogena crap.
Everybody's skin is different... one remedy may work for someone and not for you, and vice versa

I have used it before (irish potato), it works a 100 percent with consistency. The down side of it is its preparation, I had to grate a potato every day and squeeze out the juice. Storing the potato juice darkens it and I am not sure if it's still effective after it darkens. I usually go in with vit E oil just to keep my face moisturized as the face can feel dry as the juice is absorbed. I go to bed with it and wash my face in the morning. Days I don't have a commitment, I repeat the treatment in the morning.

OK SO THIS IS MY 2ND DAY DOING TRYING POTATO ON MY SKIN LETS HOPE IT WORKS SO FAR USING UNDER ARMS AND FACE. Under arms since after waxing caused some darks marks i guess because my skin got irritated. now Lets see if this works. Thank you Dr. for your post makes me feel better now lol.

omg lol i actually did a whole weeks pictures of before and after im not going to lie i am so amazed at the 2 weesk results that i bought a bunch of potatoes lol. my under arms look better now its week 3 and im happy w results and my face well i can tell you that the outbreaks i had went away IF YOU TRY THIS I PROMISE you will be happy i did twice a day and left on over night

Greenish potatoes are raw and their antibacterial properties are not fully developed thus you can harm your skin more by using raw potatoes. Use the brown ones instead.
