    Hi! My 95 Vw Polo 1.6 single point injection has lots of modification to get the more power (intake, exhaust, 4-2-1 header, iridium spark plugs, vernier pulley, chip. 2 years ago I put 264° cam and I got 9 hp-6.6 kw so with only the 305 cam you can get 100 kw from 82 kw. I am going to change my cam soon I am thinking to put 278° cam to hear this amazing idle sound por por por...

    Im in the same boat now the guy said 2L but its 1.8 bore to 2l forget piston vernier pulley 288 cam 1000cc injectors i still need to check everything

    2l 8v blocks dont run mechanical fuel pumps ,,,,,Glad you being honest I tried to flag you before in the comments a couple's of videos back but good luck with your build ,,,, respect the honesty 🤙

      You don't get a long bloc hv block hv is shortblock 1.8

    maybe you must think of unkel you to put a aba mark3 engen in side the golf its a 1ste generasion it maks a 150kw standert that is the engen im going to get my self if i start with my progeck on my golf with bike crubs on it to

    What is the casting number on the front of the head? I'm not familiar with a 2 litre head only having 4 cam caps. And 12mm lift cams clear a 2e head without mods. Double check the castings.

    Install 2.6 carevel pistons 83.5 mm and get a 2.0 crank Wich is 92.8mm stocke and you will have a very rev happy 2.1 L

    I also have a buget build myne is feul injection i wouldnt mind racing if you keen to see the difrance between the 2 just for the fun of it ?

      Hi wynand. We can do that 32/36 weber vs fuel injection cool. Let me just finish the cylinder and cam. Will be a fun run!!!!

    Try get a solid lifter head , you will also need a solid lifter cam , they make more power than hydraulic lifters.

    Howzit going ?
    I swapped my Peugeot 206 for an scarp mk1 in last month.
    Long story short, about 2 weeks ago, got the suspension overalled.
    I thought the engine was due for rebuild because it idle very uneven and the head (cam) it's making noise. But never the less, taken the car for test drive. And it's like the car doesn't have any power under 4000.
    But on my way home from the fuel station, at the one traffic light. Opel Corsa ref and I reffed the shitbox.
    We pulled away , that shitbox suprised the shit out of me.
    In First gear almost 70km on 8500rpms
    2nd gear 118km on 8500rpms.
    The oak from the Opel , he pulled me over and ask me wtf was under the hood. I'm like normal 1600 carb engine.
    He didn't believe me. I open the bonnet and showed him. According to the oak. The car have cam and headwork and so on done.
    My only complaint it's very heavy on fuel. . .
    Doesn't matter how slow U drive ...
