The pickups are wired really well. They pretty much play anything from crystal cleans to ragging distortion and they are very articulate. Purchased the turquoise finish and I’m very pleased with my purchase. Also have to not the neck is unbelievable comfortable and the frets are also very taken care of and there are no sprouted frets.
It’s very likely that none of us should… however, many of us are here contemplating on adding yet another guitar to our arsenal for reasons we don’t really know and solely based on the fact that we want to.
Hi for those of you in the UK, I put a pre-order in for this one with Guitar Guitar. They told me they should receive these in the first two weeks of April. I’m gonna wait
Great review man. I just have a question. I've never used a guitar with a tremolo and I play different types of music sometimes it's Standard, sometimes it's in Drop B. I just have a question regarding the tremolo, do I need adjust the screws in order for me to drop the tuning? Is it as complicated as a floyd rose bridge? I've been using fixed bridges for almost a decade now and stopped playing for 2+ years, I'm planning to buy this one as I'm a fan of PRS Guitars. Thank you in advance.
Since no one answered you I'll give you my honest opinion. With bridges like that you can tight the springs to make it easier to do a drop D without significant changes in tuning. But the ideal option is a fixed bridge or other systems like the drop D in some Floyd roses like. I have an ibanez with microtuning and I made an improvised bridge locking system to work with lower tunings and not have to worry about regulating the bridge
Neck looks like a Silver Sky SE style but concerned about the wide -thin description. Pickups sound great , the single coil tones are brilliant from a humbucker!
Such a great guitar for the money. These should be flying off the shelves. Played one and might go back and buy it. I just have too many guitars. Or, do I?!?!
It's the identical guitar to the SE CE 24 has a mahogany body, maple neck and rosewood fretboard with the same hardware and electronics...the ONLY difference is the mahogany body does not have the glossy maple veneer top. Also keep in mind it's $200 less !!! I have the vintage cherry red. It's incredibly resonant...
It would be insane if they charged that much for a veneer top finish. But that's not the only difference. The SE CE 24 does have a real maple top with flame maple veneer.
I can’t seem to understand people in other countries finding this an “entry level” guitar. I am a doctor in a third world country and I this is the best guitar I can afford with my salary 😅
I think when they're saying entry level, it means entry level when it comes to professionally usable guitars. Cheap beginner guitars are available there as well.
Play at at a pro level and on recordings to with no issues no flash or beautiful finishes how do they do it .would be a dream to customise like the Silver silver Sky SE .
I have a 401 and a few PRS both core and SE models and I don’t think you’d go wrong with either. I’d say the 401 punches well above its price range. I’ve not played one of these SE CE24’s but it’ll be good quality.
I just seen one like black stain . If you change pickup to lollar p90 @34 fret sounds really cool . L did it on mu s2 24 that doesn't have maple neck bolt on . Bolt on vs glue in dose sound different it's little in vibration neck to body .
I am sooooo tired of hearing “SNAPPY” or “SNAPPIER”. This reminds me of when the media went after George W. Bush and the word that got handed out in media class that day was”Gravitas”. Apparently you can not review a PRS Bolt neck without using “SNAPPY” or some version of same. I’m guessing when PRS sends out review guitars, this is the nomenclature that comes with it. NOW! Having said all this……. I have a CE22 and a CE24. They sound like PRS guitars…….. they sound great.
That might be the case...But personally I just love the combination of the satin finish and the birds... In fact I've just ordered my 9th PRS 🙂 : That one in satin cherry finish...
@@jeromewagschal9485 Cheers. I've had two in my lifetime. A very old SE245 back when they first came out and a recently bought Silversky SE. PRSs are damn expensive but great instruments.
A bit, but Im digging that turquoise one! This satin finish is very appealing. At this price i can pick one up and save it for grandkids if the slim chance i dont like it.
While Gibson/Epiphone ramp the price up, PRS offer budget options. Nice one Paul
I played a black one at my local GC and now I ordered the red one to be my first electric! It was so smooth!
Paul is a humanitarian.❤

I might , I shouldn’t but that price for product is a modders dream

Don't encourage me
F*cking GAS .... is there a cure? :))
This is a great guitar at a great price thank you PRS its is on my shopping list.
Just got mine yesterday and can’t put it down. Amazing quality, affordable price. Can’t beat it
It really is!

I bought one of these today. It's the greatest guitar I've ever owned. By far. Prs hit a home run with this guitar.
I have the charcoal color. Great frets and playability. Thank you, PRS!
I cannot wait to get mine. Freaking backorder.
What color did you chose?
this sounds like a great guitar I'm definitely getting this

Great demo and playing. Love the clean chord progressions. Really nice

No such thing!! 😂

The charcoal looks more brown or chocolate colored, which I love! Is that how it looks in person?
Ugh I’m torn between an esp ltd 401
Or this🤦🏻
I’m going to buy one this week. What should I do?😅
I can attest to the quality, value, and longevity of both. You should definitely choose this guitar. More sonic versatility.
If you can play them in person it might make it a clear choice

PRS hold their value like Good Gibsons do…….. just saying.
Ltd all the way.
I tried a couple of these and they were great. I'ld like to pick one up for $300 used

Will it perform nice with drop C or lower tunings? With some string gauge changes perhaps?
Yes I’ve tried everything sometimes it can sound very modern, but leaves room for pedal effects… very smooth n sleek
@@Ghostxcoma thanks mate!
It would be cool to customize it
FYI the tremolo stays in tune !!!! Thank you 🎶🎶🎶🎶
Why do some not have black headstock
I want to hear sonething i recognize
Lose the birds and I'm in.

Is our children learning?
That's a lot of bang for the buck....

@@jeromewagschal9485You own 9 PRS? You lucky bastard xD
