crystal bowie hi crystal! Do you mean box cake mix or scratch mix? If box, I don’t really have a preference for any of them. I’ve used Duncan Hines, Betty Crocker and I think even pilsbury. For vanilla scratch mixes ive used a baker called Sally’s baking addition and also cupcake Jemma.
How sweet those the strawberries cobbler come out ? I can usually do 2 spoonful and I have to tap out because it’s so sweet. Wondering if I could use fresh strawberries and half of the canned mix ? But would this cause it to be watery because of the fresh strawberries ?
It definitely depends on your sweet levels, but you can cook down the fresh strawberries to reduce the amount of liquid they’ll produce in the cobbler!
Thanks for this! I might have to give this a try. A question please, how much would you sell a pan of this for? It looks really easy to make, perfect for the stuffed waffle cones!!
@@TheStationBakery ok great! Thanks, I'm sorta new to your channel but I'm loving your content! Plz keep up the great work, I know we all appreciate what you do!
Leslie Rutland Armstrong you can use either! You can pour the box mix over the filling and bake which will create what’ we call a dump cake just be sure to add butter on top of it. If you do the batter make sure you adjust to the size of pan you’re using. And I would recommend doing splotches of batter since it will rise and spread! I hope this helps!
@@TheStationBakery dang I just saw this comment lol. I baked a cake to use for mine but next time I’ll pour the batter on top. I’m not a cake person so I don’t have cake scraps.
Jessica Leggett I flavor to taste but usually about 2 tablespoons of brown sugar (I used light because that’s all I had), 1 tablespoon cinnamon sugar, and 1 teaspoon of nutmeg.
No you didn’t miss it. Thank you for the catch! I just updated it. Here's What I Used: -Canned Peaches (1 29 oz. can) -Canned Strawberry Filling (2 21 oz. cans) -Cake Scraps (use what you have and cover the tops as you please) -Melted butter (1/4 c per cobbler + 1/4 sliced butter for cobbler tops) -Cinnamon (flavor to taste) -Nutmeg (flavor to taste) -Brown Sugar (flavor to taste) -Pecans (all of them. Never too many pecans!) -White Chocolate -2 8x8 aluminum trays
Jahde Robinson if you’re not a baker you can use a simple box mix and make as directed on the box! If you want it to be more homemade, sub out the water for milk, oil for melted butter and add an egg and boom! Great cake!
A baker in a different group said her secret is she turns her cakes upside down when they come out of the oven. Leave the pan. After they have cooled for about 10 mins, take the pan off. Let them cool completely and you have a level top everytime. I did it one time and was mindblown. Havent looked back since 😂😂.
Chonte Fields 🤣 oh ok, yes I’ve done that before, but honestly I like cutting off the tops because I want to taste it (quality control 😅), but 🤫 don’t tell anyone 😜

Would you use fresh peaches the same way?
Yes you can but I would cook them down some on the stove first.
Looks good! But what if you don’t have cake scraps? Any recommendations for alternatives?
Jaquita Logan yes, if you don’t have cake scraps you can bake the cake batter right on top !👌🏽
Jaquita Logan or use biscuits coated in cinnamon sugar and butter 🤤🤤🤤
The Station Bakery How do you bake the cake batter on top? Do you just pour the cake mix only top? Or follow the box directions and then pour on top?
