The thing with Love supposedly being “up and down,” it wasn’t a case that he was good one game and then bad the next. He started out slow as his first year starting, with receivers and tight ends who were all rookies or second year guys, along with injuries to one of those guys(Watson), and an injured Aaron Jones. He was consistently good to great the whole second half of the season as all those young guys grew together. He was also one of the best QBs under pressure. I think things look good for Live this season.
@@davidkranz7050 He didnt even start out slow. He was pretty damn good the first 3 weeks when he went for 8 tds and only 1 int. Then injuries caught up to them and they lost 5 straight. Then they balled out the rest of the season.
@@williamhermann6635 what you said. Obviously love made his share of mistakes early on. But there were just as many issues w receivers not breaking where they should or just completely running the wrong route that as all of that got cleaned up throughout the year so did loves play and a great run was the result
Eagles fan here. I like the fact that packers don’t just key in on 1 guy, it allows Jordan to be confident in all of his receivers that they’ll plays when needed and he doesn’t have to be like “ oh 3rd&5” I need a first down imma throw it to dobbs or whatever. It keeps the defense on their toes because anyone of those guys can go off at any time instead of defenses having to gameplan on one receiver they have to worry about Wr1, 2,3,4and 5. And then adding Jacob’s to run behind that O-line as well as including him in the passing game just strengthens this offense even more
Exactly. Might not have a true WR1, but we have like 5 WR2s and two borderline TE1/good TE2 receivers as well. If opposing defenses this year don't have solid DBs all around they're gonna have trouble.
If Nick can't be negative about the Packers up front, then he'll recruit something outside so he can be negative about the Packers simply by association! The man has a PATHOLOGICAL dislike for the GBP, and any of his opinions about that organisation should be dismissed outright.
Mangini is hating. Yeah Love and the entire offense had a rough 5 game stretch where David Bakhtiari, Aaron Jones, Christian Watson, and Elgton Jenkins were either out or playing hurt. You remove the 4 best players from any other offense and theyre gonna struggle badly. Outside of that 5 game stretch, Packers and Love were 9-3.
@@llamarre4 Excuses? Its reality bro. It’s the media that needs to rank everything. Some panelists have trouble naming more than 5 players from each team, and they like to be able to match up top QB to QB, top RB to RB, and top WR to WR to figure out who is going to win. Sometimes the reason teams win is more than the Aikman/Smith/Irvin dynamic. The Packers have a much healthier set up because they don’t rely on one or two guys to score points.
I agree with Nick that the Packers or Texans will disappoint. I’ve been saying it’s the Texans. They won’t have a lot place schedule or be sneaking up on anybody, and CJ has done a lot of offseason talking…
Bruh. These guys need to literally just be upfront and say “we didn’t watch a single Panthers game last year.” Before speaking. There was plenty of throws Bryce made that showed sparks and his receivers constantly dropped the ball or he was getting sacked IMMEDIATELY. I can’t stand when people bring up CJ Stroud’s success compared to Bryce because CJ is in a much better situation it’s not even close. It was reported the Panthers changed their offense 3 times last year while they also fired their HC. That’s not a recipe for success to throw onto a rookie QB.
Doubs, Wicks, Watson, Reed. 4 number 1's. Melton, Dubois, kraft, Musgrave, 4 number 2's. They don't need 3's, but they have them. So good luck trying to cover.
What does Nick mean he’s never been wrong here? Historically Russell Wilson is only an inch bigger than Bryce and he was undoubtedly a successful pick. The jury is out on kyler but he’s about as successful as Justin Herbert who people consider a hit at qb.
People over-exaggerate Loves first few games being that bad. One of those games was that great comeback vs the Saints. Last 10 games there was no up and down Mangini.
Right. And Game 1 against the Bears he looked good. Had an ugly 5 game stretch where the entire offense looked lost (not just Love). Anyone who knows this team puts that on LaFleur...including LaFleur. GB will have a top 5 offense this year...book it.
That's rite NO WR1 the pack got 6 of em !! When you have a bonafide 1 there there's egos that come with that ! This is s a team sport so spread the ball around! Keeps defense of balance ! Packers are so legit this year !! If they keep injuries to a minimum and everyone does there job and executes they ll be in the SB !!!
Hilarious. NFL history says it? NFL history says the Chiefs won’t win the Super Bowl cause a three peat has never happened but he wouldn’t ever say that lol
Nick has to marry his Bears take, so by proxy he has to devalue the Packers. It will bite him in the ass like his Cowboys take last year lol😅… The NFC North is a two team division Packers, Lions… Bears will be improved but they aren’t hopping over to legit Super Bowl contenders… And it’s rare for three teams to make it.

Jordan Love had the least amount of games below a 60 QBr than any QB in the NFL. Mangini, learn your stats bub.
QBR is a shit stat. Everyone knows that at this point.
And he was the #12 qb on pff season long with his “bad” games #1 on his end of season stretch.
How many of those games were in the last 9 games????
Finished second in touchdowns and had the most games with multiple TDS and zero ints.
