I just did drivers side upper and lower on my 08 F150 yesterday. Not a bad job. Definitely DIYer doable.
Nice job Jerry.I just did all that to my Ram 1500.I changed everything except the steering rack and it was a PITA.....
I have yet to change the steering rack as well

Do you know if the upper ball joint on a 2WD 2004 Expedition is serviceable, without replacing the entire control arm?
Nope. Takes a whole upper A arm
I don't mind doing ball joints , love changing ring and pinions most..
would be way easier if a person had a hoist
