Once again Anglers west TV does not dissapoint! Great show, Always love doing the off shore stuff!
Great to see all those big lings on the jigs, good work!
The bottom fishing in this video is phenomenal. I've got to get up there.
Great fishing. looks like a trip of a lifetime.
That Frank guy, the captain of the boat is one nice piece of man candy!
That hali was bigger than almost all of the bluegill I catch.
Dale D. I’ve caught bigger halibut than deer I’ve shot......
fishing is the best
yes those are rock cod or rock fish. they turn red because they live real deep eating prawn and that makes them red.
Actually there are lots of different species of rockfish of different colors. It has nothing to do with their diet.
@@micahgee By the way, I believe the blue-colored lingcod feed on crab a lot, and that does influence those blue-colored lingcod's flesh (and even outer skin) color - just FYI.
That was not a blue shark, it was A smooth hound or big soupfin or something.. blue sharks have this really long snout a different dorsal fin and really long pec fins (and are typically very blue here). My guess is part of the tope shark family.kinda has a dogfish like shape and blue sharks are kinda long and snake like. Tope sharks are great eating and blue sharks need to be pickled or something to be palatable because they released urea through their skin.
The large lobe on the upper part of the tail identifies this as a soupfin shark.
Somebody show those girls on the rope how to pull....danm, guy on hook doing all the work !!
those arent red snapper theyre rockfish im pretty sure
We call vermilion and yellow eye red snapper on the west coast but they are rockfish family members.
The mackerel is commonly known as greenback or correctly Pacific chub mackerel. Not Spanish mackerel. Thanks for posting.
Blue Shark lol, just a big Dogfish !
question, at 0:46 the ling cod, some of them have this funny grid pattern on them. They shouldn't come out of the water looking like that, what causes it?
Cliff Lee it’s the pattern on whatever they put the lingcod on, the ground of the boat I mean
res snapper are an atlantic fish. They are Red yelloweye in the pacific.
James Rogers just yellow eye, but if u lived on the west coast you would know that yellow eye and vermillion are commonly called red snapper
Sartine Island ?
what boat is that......
Oh I cringed when the guide called that yelloweye a red snapper.
Need info to book a trip other asap
I hate to be this guy, but there is NO WAY that those springs are 28 and 35 pounds. I'd say they're more like 12 and 14 pounds.
I cringed when the one guy rested his rod on the boat's edge while fighting a big one. good way to get a rod snapped in half.
Much better challenge when we kick motor out of gear...
the best halibut is 30-120 lbs anything bigger you would be right.
Not even close to 25 and 28. Try 12 and 15. Exaggerate much?

There are two kinds of fishermen,
Those that exaggerate,
And those that lie!
Which are you?
that happens when you just leave them on the ground look at the grips on the boat floor
Use bait busters. That's child's play!
