As a chubby kid who grew up in the 80's, this show was a breath of fresh air, usually the main characters are good looking and badass, but Po was different, he was dorky and clumsy at the very beginning but His heart was in the right place, and he improved and evolved as a character without losing his fun and charm, he was a big inspiration to me, as much as I liked the 2008 animated reboot, the Old TV show has a special place in my memories and heart
I grew up with the animated reboot so I never really got the hype around the 80s sitcom. Until a few weeks ago when they finally put it on Netflix and I decided to watch out of curiosity. All I can say is wow! It’s definitely a classic for a reason!
You totally missed the spanish version of the show dubbed in Mexico, the voice characters were hilarious! The unforgettable actor Javier García Sánchez did an amazing job voicing Po, Oogway and Mantis! The latino public agree is an improvement upon the original.
Po, a chubby burn-out living and working at his dad's restaraunt, is suddenly thrust into the world of kung-fu when an acceptance letter arrives from Master Oogway's Dojo. While originally though to be an accident, Master Oogway assures Po that "there are no accidents". There, he trains against and eventually befriends the Furious Five, a group of young martial artists nicknamed after the styles of kung-fu they practice, and Shifu, the stubborn headmaster. Meanwhile, the dangerous criminal Tai Lung, who Shifu trained, escapes from prison and vows revenge against his former master
Po kinda looks like Kevin James just a bit. Wouldn't be the first time James played a big black-and-white mammal. Tigress kinda looks like Audrey from _Atlantis: The Lost Empire_ , for all 4 of you who remember that movie. Monkey looks like the offspring of Willem Dafoe and Zach Galifianakis. Crane looks like a young Grand Moff Tarkin.
Po: Dan Fogler Tai Lung: Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa Tigress: Tessa Thompson Monkey: Steve Zahn Crane: Adrien Brody Viper: Amy Sedaris Mantis: David Tennant Master Shifu: Sir Ben Kingsley
Imagine AI creating an alternate universe with its art creations. Imagine, these characters from our reality's animation as real people in an alternate AI created reality or a live action show for an alternate raltiy instead of an animated show in ours.
Do you think you can do Annoying orange next? Yes, I know their FAR from the best franchise. But I'm very intrigued how it would go. They did have a cartoon network show after all
(Only characterizing their personalities by their looks, not being mean or judgmental) Po - a hot dog eating champion learning Kung fu Tai lung - a narcissistic bodybuilder from Japan only using Kung fu for exercise purposes Tigress - a female boxer seeing if Kung fu is better than boxing Monkey - a hippy on performance drugs being too optimistic on learning Kung fu Crane - a miserable mailman always getting picked on by groups of kids chasing him everytime he delivers giving him a good reason to learn Kung fu. Viper - a goth thrash metal singer trying to act hard by taking Kung fu. Mantis - an accountant that's obsessed with the color green training Kung fu on his off time. Master Shifu - Ben Kingsley auditioning to cast as a sensei for a low budget karate kid remake.

Props to the AI for making Crane look like Adrien Brody and Shifu like Ben Kingsley. This is really getting realistic!
I just wish it made Po look more like Jack Black and Monkey more like Jackie Chan. (Also, why is Viper a karen?)
Don't forget about David John Tennant as Mantis
@@DarkDoughnutsVids Because 80s Karens didn't have that haircut.
It also made Monkey look like Zack Garifalakis.
@@stormguard325 First I thought of Adam Levy then him
Absolutely devastating that Oogway wasn’t in this.
As well as Shen and Kai
Or the rhino warden from the prison.
Agreed! 😭
Was about to say that😢
The fact that i have a feeling that ive seen these people in this vid before yet these people never existed its crazy how strong ai art already is
Yup it amazes me to the core
Do you guys know what AI tool is being used to generate this?
Crane is based on Larry Hankin.
Mantis is clearly David Tennant.

Exactly what I was thinking
Po is literally the american protagonists
young Tony Soprano
Watch Movie Cop
@@thealyssonramon216 Pandas are typical American animals. lol...:P
I was half expecting Po to just be a photo of Jack Black in the 80s
Wasn’t he a kid in the 80’s
Nvm, damn he looks deceptively young
He was a teenager during the 80s, but still there's no way that Po could look any different than a young Jack Black.
Nah!, pero en los 80's era muy delgado para ser Po, lo digo porque lo vi en expedientes secretos X

God lord there's going to be a 80's sitcom for everything

@@Finndegoldgaming just a new trend.
My hope for the future is AI can generate entire shows so stuff like this can come to life 🫰
Chris Farley as Po
Jeff Bridges as Monkey
Al Pacino as Crane
David Tennant as Mantis
Ben Kingsley as Master shifu
Nah crane looks like Adrian Brody
nah adrien brody as crane
nah jackie chan as monkey TF
Crane is Adrien Brody and Po is Billy Gardell. Chris Farley wasn't every 90s fat guy
Po looked to me a bit more like Kevin James and Ewan McGregor for Monkey

Kevin James as Po
Tessa Thompson as Tigress
Adrian Brody as Crane

Adam Levy or Zach Galifianakis as Monkey maybe
Crane looks like adrian brody (probably best known for the film the pianist)

I'm one of those 4 people, and Mantis looks kinda like Jim Parsons
@@chaotic2554 he straight up tho
Jorge García would have looked better as PO ,even Jack Black Himself would do a good PO.
Crane was very well done. If there was a live action, a skinny Adrien Brody would be an amazing cast
I thought about him too!! He could be perfect for this role
Crane look like the guy in the pianist but more skinnier 😂😂😂
I love that Crane and Po are just Kevin James and Adrien Brody respectively
Po: Dan Fogler
Tai Lung: Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa
Tigress: Tessa Thompson
Monkey: Steve Zahn
Crane: Adrien Brody
Viper: Amy Sedaris
Mantis: David Tennant
Master Shifu: Sir Ben Kingsley
I liked everyone except for Viper - considering her character, I think she should look like much more young and gentle
I love how Tai Lung looks so Tai Lung!🤣
Tai Lung = Balthazar Bratt
Crane = Adrien Brody
Master Shifu = Ben Kingsley
David Tennant playing Mantis
tigress has an extremely strong resemblance to Vanessa hudgens
Please do Over the Hedge as an 80s sitcom next if we're doing more Dreamworks movies

i always just imagined PO as regular Jack Black
Crane looks like if Adrian Brody and Al Pacino had a child
Po…….Billy Gardell
Monkey……Zach Galifianakis
Crane……..Adrian Brody
Mantis…….David Tenant
Shifu……..Ben Kingsley
It's crazy how the AI made them look so much like what you'd expect them to be
They would all be chinese if the movie had humans instead of animals, so you're weird for this.
Adrien Brody as Crane sounds interesting
None have noticed that Thai Lung is Bolo Yeung?
Crane is literally Adrien Brody.
80s *American* sitcom. The AI forgot the movie's set in China.
Should've been as a classic Kung-Fu movie.
Crane looks like a pianist from pianist xDDDD
Tigress is so beautiful, I fallen in love with her ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
AI wouldnt dare make Monkey black
Ok but MOnkey is literally Jackie Chan and the fact they made him White is Dirtyyyyyyy
Imagine AI creating an alternate universe with its art creations. Imagine, these characters from our reality's animation as real people in an alternate AI created reality or a live action show for an alternate raltiy instead of an animated show in ours.
David Tennant is that you
Is it just me or Tai Lung looks like Baltazar Bratz?
Tai Lung looks like Manny Pacquiao
Adrian Brody as Crane
👴🏻: i think monkey was another color
I like how they just made crane into Adrian Brody
Crane looks like Adrian Brody
0:28 Ну вылитый Куплинов!

I was thinking this Micheal jackson
Tigress is tessa thomson
I gotta admit, Tessa Thompson would make an honest to goodness Tigress. I'm basing it on her performance in Thor Ragnarok.
Do you think you can do Annoying orange next? Yes, I know their FAR from the best franchise. But I'm very intrigued how it would go. They did have a cartoon network show after all

This is the best channel on internet
shouldn't viper be like chun li?

Viper luxe Zarana (Zartan Sister) from G.I.JOE A Real American Hero 80 years
The Bad Guys as 80s sitcom plx
Tigress and Viper looking nice.
Mantis looking like the Doctor like we wouldn't notice
Chinese animal characters but people are typical Germane, Italian and British faces...
We need kung fu panda as a dark eighties or 90s movie
Fair play I cnt get enough of these
Ok but Mantis is totally David Tennant.
Could you do Sonic the hedgehog as an 80s sitcom next? I'd really love to see that , these are so cool!

Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa could be a Master Oogway (IMHO)
So basically Mantis is Doctor Who on a good hair day.
Mantis from David Tennant? Nice!
