You could even argue that those are the reasons that he could have perfectly filled the role of Dragon Warrior if not for his mental/spiritual state. The DW is stated to be able to survive on Chi alone, and Tai Lung was imprisoned for 20 years without being able to move at all, and yet he was still at peak condition with no showings of muscle atrophy. I also don't imagine anyone going down to where he was to feed him or give him water, so he might have gone throughout all of his imprisonment without any of those things, with just Chi to keep him alive
In my oppinion, oogway would be in the top of the top, not only did he create kung fu and knows every move possible, but he is an enlightened bieng who is hes highest self and the pinnacle point that all masters look up to.

Honestly it's very possible oogway is stronger than kai, when he and kai fought in the spirit realm kai had the chi of all the masters, making him stronger than he is by himself. Oogway wasn't taking the fight too seriously either, although he probably couldn't have won against the powered up kai, he could probably beat him again if kai didn't have everyone's chi.
Not to mention the only reason he accepted his fate at the hands of Kai was so that Po could achieve his destiny, I'd wager if that wasn't the case Oogway would have annihilated Kai.

honestly I agree with him being highmaster but he is better than regular po, not the dragon warrior po that fought kai in the spirt realm, regular po should be moved to lower then shifu and higher then tigress because if u watch the first movie again tai lung won the fight when he picked the scroll up that's when he stopped because he didn't fully comprehend the meaning behind the scroll but if you give tai lung all that time that he had in prison to train he would've probably figured out chi and almost mastered it as he is a quick learner he is so underrated and I think they should make a comeback for him in the next up and coming movie.

for those who didn't watch kung fu panda: the legends of awesomeness, there is actually a level higher than the dragon warrior which is celestial phoenix. this is the highest level of mastery of kung fu. shifu described this form as impossible to achieve no matter how hard you train. that's why training never stops.

It could be just bias speaking but I think Crane could of been put at the bottom of the High Master tier. People seem to forget that he's able to manipulate the wind caused by his wing flaps, we see this in the Holiday special he is also physically strong as well as he was able to lift all members of the five at once. He is also the only member of the five who managed to get Kai of his feet even if it was only for a second. Tigress managed to stagger him but not get him off his feet. But again this could just be bias speaking as he's my favorite character.

Great video. Only disagreement is I think it overestimates Po. In fact I would put him in the lower rankings of the FF giving their versatility of abilities that he doesn’t have. A lot of this ranking for him is based on the premise that he beat Tai Lung, but that doesn’t necessarily make him stronger as he had several advantages: - TL had never fought a Panda before and was unfamiliar with styles conducive to one (thinking they were mere fodder when they first met). - TL was extremely emotional given that the very think he’d spent 20 years in prison for turned out to be for nothing. - Po just happened to master possibly the single deadliest move in lore. In short, I think if TL had survived the first match, Po would have never beaten him again as TL would have mastered ways to beat him as a panda (he proves in his fight with the FF what a quick study he is). Point taken, though, that Po’s so ridiculously durable that it’s hard for anyone to actually hurt him. 😂

There was an owl character in the series I wonder where she fits into this. She supposedly defeated shifu and their other furious five members (at that time) and only sealing her away was how she could be defeated
Fenghuang? Oh she is in the bottom of the Grandmaster or bottom of the High Master tier. She can defeat Shifu and the Furious Five, even hold her own against Oogway. Po struggled with her at first and Oogway and Kai are the only contenders I can think of that can defeat her quite easily.
Tai lung and lord shen are some of the best animated kids villains we’ve ever gotten. It’s obvious they had to tone down Kai (he’s still a badass) because the second movie got criticized for being too violent I think. The second movie is the best out of the 3 imo. They somehow got genocide and dictatorship to be part of a kids story.

Po is the strongest everybody , just because he is not as menacing as Tai lung/Kai or as wise as Oogway he still beats them. His intuition is unmatched and coincides with his unpredictability for a powerful combo. It’s why he got the best of Tai lung and brought Kai back to the spirit realm.
IMO, Tai Lung should be ranked higher than Po but less than Oogway, in the first film he is able to defeat Po which allows him to get the scroll, but it is when Tai Lung finds out that the scroll has nothing on it, the one thing he was fighting for so much was completely pointless and useless. Not having something to fight for (motivation you could say) weakened him so much to the point Po was able to defeat him finally. Chasing down the scroll to try and fulfill his destiny as the dragon warrior he thought he was, made him an unstoppable fighting machine. Tai Lungs determination to get the scroll and learn true power was really what made him so strong, he would destroy anything in his path to get the scroll.
Po literally had BARLEY training in the first movie where he fought Tai Lung and still put up a decent fight. Po is able to reflect a attackers attack back at them (punching Tai lung threw a building with ez)
I feel like oogway should be higher then po because he has more experience then po and he chose to lose against kai to have po realize who he was. I also think tai lung should be at the grand master list because he was the first person ever to learn the 1000 scrolls of kung fu which would mean Kai and shifu hadn’t done that by that point. This wouldn’t make tai lung stronger then Kai but I feel like that’s note worthy.
I’d put Tai lung on the grandmaster tier. His feats are a bit hard to scale though, like the fact that he defeated the furious five easily because of Shifu training them the same way he trained Tai lung, meaning Tai lung knows their weaknesses. Then theres Po vs Tai lung, Po wasn’t able to train the same way as the furious five but instead using unconventional methods in combat that baffled Tai lung along with his fat blocking the nerve attacks. Po easily defeats Tai lung whilst the furious five and shifu can’t because of his strong counter towards them. The prison break & fighting the guards is probably the only way to scale Tai lung though.
Interesting list. How about Strength and Tiers for Bleach? Would Final Getsuga Tenshoi Ichigo, Monster Aizen, and Almighty Yhwach be the top? Would Yamamoto be just under Aizen's first Hogyoku forms but above most of the Sternlitter with perhaps Gerald and Gremmy near him?

A transcendent in Bleach is pretty the top powerhouses even in comparison of Yamamoto, and it being likely Aizen could defeat the Zero Division in this stage as he adapts constantly to a point he no longer is wary of any the powers of the world I think it maybe likely that they are approaching those tiers.
@@weeaboo-warrior Thanks for the response. I definitely think the Bleach verse scales above the Otsutsuki clan from Naruto when we enter the trancendent tiers. It will be interesting estimating the multipliers for Aizen's Hogyoku transformations until he becomes a white butterfly monster. I saw the art for Aizen's final transcendent state by the Hogyoku in Bleach Lost Souls and it looks pretty cool. It also implies the Hogyoku does have a maximum limit though how much is that specific limit if is one is by anybody's guess.
I think Po and Oogway should be GOD tier, Oogway was the creator of kung fu and a very powerful warrior. Po.. the fact that Oogway made him his successor is proof that po might be equal to Oogway.

Also, I’m curious, do you think queen Maeve is above soldier boy since she put up a better fight against him that seemingly anyone else. But statements seem to suggest soldier boy was the only thing in the boys Amazon universe that was even close to homelander, and also considering maeves fear of homelander, it’s really hard to say who’s is stronger.
I would say Soldier Boy is stronger. Maybe in hand to hand they are on the same level, but with his nuke attack he would win. And I'll definitely be making a tier list for the boys, but I will probably wait until it's over, which is apparently going to be season 5.

I would argue that Tai lung was the greatest fighter above any other character. The only thing that puts Po, Oogway, and Kai above him is their additional unique mystical abilities.
Yes and no, Po maybe as Tai lung was tired at the end of the fight but even then Po's skills have grown exceptionally, Oogway & Kai however have been training & fighting for over 500 years so even though we don't see much of their normal skills it's safe to assume their unmatched in terms of standard combat.
Shifu in the first movie is able to give him a fight and by the third movie it's implied that most of the furious five have gotten stronger since the first movie so it's very possible that Tigris and Shifu are stronger than Tai lung by the third movie as it makes no sense for them to be weaker then they were in the first

For Kung Fu Panda 4 I’m predicting Tigress will be Grandmaster tier. In Chi, her unique martial arts style, speed, strength, durability, endurance, stamina and literally everything else she’ll be Grandmaster level. Surpassing Shifu and Tai Lung for sure imo 💯🔥 Call me crazy but I think she has the potential to surpass BASE Kai. Meaning Kai without stolen Chi.

Tai walks on a single rope, talking, playing mind games while tigress was tripping up on a rocking bridge. RIGHT OUT OF PRISON. Wouldn't even know how strong he could have been with 20 years of training. Also, technically Tai lung didn't really lose against Po. He got the scroll, he got what he wanted after 20 years. Then Po won after but let's be real, the main character can't lose. Nonetheless, I'm glad to see Tai getting his credit.

Just gonna put this out there, If Poe sent Tai Lung to the spirit realm, I WANT TO SEE MORE OF TAI LUNG. He would canonically be considered not dead, and probably festering for revenge just like Kai was. While it may be cliche to basically just turn him into Kai 2.0, I think the writers could handle it in a way that could be satisfying and better than Kai since we already know much more about the history of Tai Lung than we ever did about Kai, and possibly even introduce a modicum of character growth for him, if not an outright 180. This would also allow us to see if Poe is still worthy of being the dragon warrior after many thought his bout with Tai Lung in the first movie was somewhat anti-climatic. Just saying that it'd be easier to do this than it might be to introduce a whole new villain out of nowhere like Shen or Kai, and IMO Tai Lung is still the coolest villain from the whole series.
I mean, its confirmed tai lung is still around. He made a small cameo in the third movie: he was one of the jade figures kai wore, which means kai found him in the spirit realm and imprisoned him, like the others. Which means he was also freed like all the others after kais defeat. So, hes either back in the spirit realm, or in the real world. But hes definitely still around and kicking. Would be a pretty huge waste not to use the character again

for those who didn't watch kung fu panda: the legends of awesomeness, there is actually a level higher than the dragon warrior which is celestial phoenix. this is the highest level of mastery of kung fu. shifu described this form as impossible to achieve no matter how hard you train. that's why training never stops.

It could be just bias speaking but I think Crane could of been put at the bottom of the High Master tier. People seem to forget that he's able to manipulate the wind caused by his wing flaps, we see this in the Holiday special he is also physically strong as well as he was able to lift all members of the five at once. He is also the only member of the five who managed to get Kai of his feet even if it was only for a second. Tigress managed to stagger him but not get him off his feet. But again this could just be bias speaking as he's my favorite character.

Only disagreement is I think it overestimates Po. In fact I would put him in the lower rankings of the FF giving their versatility of abilities that he doesn’t have.
A lot of this ranking for him is based on the premise that he beat Tai Lung, but that doesn’t necessarily make him stronger as he had several advantages:
- TL had never fought a Panda before and was unfamiliar with styles conducive to one (thinking they were mere fodder when they first met).
- TL was extremely emotional given that the very think he’d spent 20 years in prison for turned out to be for nothing.
- Po just happened to master possibly the single deadliest move in lore.
In short, I think if TL had survived the first match, Po would have never beaten him again as TL would have mastered ways to beat him as a panda (he proves in his fight with the FF what a quick study he is).
Point taken, though, that Po’s so ridiculously durable that it’s hard for anyone to actually hurt him. 😂

There was an owl character in the series I wonder where she fits into this. She supposedly defeated shifu and their other furious five members (at that time) and only sealing her away was how she could be defeated
Fenghuang? Oh she is in the bottom of the Grandmaster or bottom of the High Master tier. She can defeat Shifu and the Furious Five, even hold her own against Oogway. Po struggled with her at first and Oogway and Kai are the only contenders I can think of that can defeat her quite easily.

Tai lung and lord shen are some of the best animated kids villains we’ve ever gotten. It’s obvious they had to tone down Kai (he’s still a badass) because the second movie got criticized for being too violent I think. The second movie is the best out of the 3 imo. They somehow got genocide and dictatorship to be part of a kids story.

She has a fiew huge feats: she defeated furious five and shifu 1 vs 6 and was fighting with oogway. He couldnt defeat her and had to trap her.

Po is the strongest everybody , just because he is not as menacing as Tai lung/Kai or as wise as Oogway he still beats them. His intuition is unmatched and coincides with his unpredictability for a powerful combo. It’s why he got the best of Tai lung and brought Kai back to the spirit realm.

IMO, Tai Lung should be ranked higher than Po but less than Oogway, in the first film he is able to defeat Po which allows him to get the scroll, but it is when Tai Lung finds out that the scroll has nothing on it, the one thing he was fighting for so much was completely pointless and useless. Not having something to fight for (motivation you could say) weakened him so much to the point Po was able to defeat him finally. Chasing down the scroll to try and fulfill his destiny as the dragon warrior he thought he was, made him an unstoppable fighting machine. Tai Lungs determination to get the scroll and learn true power was really what made him so strong, he would destroy anything in his path to get the scroll.
That first movie Po he should be massively inferior to end of second movie Po
Po literally had BARLEY training in the first movie where he fought Tai Lung and still put up a decent fight. Po is able to reflect a attackers attack back at them (punching Tai lung threw a building with ez)

I feel like oogway should be higher then po because he has more experience then po and he chose to lose against kai to have po realize who he was. I also think tai lung should be at the grand master list because he was the first person ever to learn the 1000 scrolls of kung fu which would mean Kai and shifu hadn’t done that by that point. This wouldn’t make tai lung stronger then Kai but I feel like that’s note worthy.
I’d put Tai lung on the grandmaster tier. His feats are a bit hard to scale though, like the fact that he defeated the furious five easily because of Shifu training them the same way he trained Tai lung, meaning Tai lung knows their weaknesses. Then theres Po vs Tai lung, Po wasn’t able to train the same way as the furious five but instead using unconventional methods in combat that baffled Tai lung along with his fat blocking the nerve attacks. Po easily defeats Tai lung whilst the furious five and shifu can’t because of his strong counter towards them. The prison break & fighting the guards is probably the only way to scale Tai lung though.

But when it comes to their tiers in powerscaling how powerful would you say they are? Way above planet busting and entering star level phases? A transcendent in Bleach is pretty the top powerhouses even in comparison of Yamamoto, and it being likely Aizen could defeat the Zero Division in this stage as he adapts constantly to a point he no longer is wary of any the powers of the world I think it maybe likely that they are approaching those tiers.

I definitely think the Bleach verse scales above the Otsutsuki clan from Naruto when we enter the trancendent tiers. It will be interesting estimating the multipliers for Aizen's Hogyoku transformations until he becomes a white butterfly monster. I saw the art for Aizen's final transcendent state by the Hogyoku in Bleach Lost Souls and it looks pretty cool. It also implies the Hogyoku does have a maximum limit though how much is that specific limit if is one is by anybody's guess.

Also, I’m curious, do you think queen Maeve is above soldier boy since she put up a better fight against him that seemingly anyone else. But statements seem to suggest soldier boy was the only thing in the boys Amazon universe that was even close to homelander, and also considering maeves fear of homelander, it’s really hard to say who’s is stronger.
I would say Soldier Boy is stronger. Maybe in hand to hand they are on the same level, but with his nuke attack he would win.
And I'll definitely be making a tier list for the boys, but I will probably wait until it's over, which is apparently going to be season 5.
Homelander wasn’t going all-out against Maeve since he wanted to harvest her eggs. I’d say Maeve and Soldier Boy are pretty comparable physically, but the chest nuke gives SB the advantage

Funny enough, there was, in a sense. He was one of the small jade figures kai wore (which means kak degeated and imprisoned him), he judt wasnt summoned to fight. Which also means hes free again agter the third movie, as all the other masters kai imprisoned were freed

I would argue that Tai lung was the greatest fighter above any other character. The only thing that puts Po, Oogway, and Kai above him is their additional unique mystical abilities.
Yes and no, Po maybe as Tai lung was tired at the end of the fight but even then Po's skills have grown exceptionally, Oogway & Kai however have been training & fighting for over 500 years so even though we don't see much of their normal skills it's safe to assume their unmatched in terms of standard combat.

He just used chi to stay alive and keep his body from withering away. And yet he STILL absolutely bodied the five and shifu. Given that he now had time to actually freely train in the spirit world for quite a few years (until kai found him), tai lung would still be better than tigress or shifu after the third movie.

For Kung Fu Panda 4 I’m predicting Tigress will be Grandmaster tier. In Chi, her unique martial arts style, speed, strength, durability, endurance, stamina and literally everything else she’ll be Grandmaster level. Surpassing Shifu and Tai Lung for sure imo 💯🔥 Call me crazy but I think she has the potential to surpass BASE Kai. Meaning Kai without stolen Chi.
Kai without chi is also no less lmao. Oogway said their battle shook the Earth. So the old Kai too is powerful. She probably won't surpass both tai lung and shifu but for sure she will surpass po. Cause po isn't stronger than both Tai lung and Shifu.

Tai lung was in prison for 20 years completely immobilized. Probably working on his chi but once he got out and fought the furious 5 you can see the clear gap on the bridge. Tai walks on a single rope, talking, playing mind games while tigress was tripping up on a rocking bridge. RIGHT OUT OF PRISON. Wouldn't even know how strong he could have been with 20 years of training.
Also, technically Tai lung didn't really lose against Po. He got the scroll, he got what he wanted after 20 years. Then Po won after but let's be real, the main character can't lose. Nonetheless, I'm glad to see Tai getting his credit.

Just gonna put this out there, If Poe sent Tai Lung to the spirit realm, I WANT TO SEE MORE OF TAI LUNG. He would canonically be considered not dead, and probably festering for revenge just like Kai was. While it may be cliche to basically just turn him into Kai 2.0, I think the writers could handle it in a way that could be satisfying and better than Kai since we already know much more about the history of Tai Lung than we ever did about Kai, and possibly even introduce a modicum of character growth for him, if not an outright 180. This would also allow us to see if Poe is still worthy of being the dragon warrior after many thought his bout with Tai Lung in the first movie was somewhat anti-climatic. Just saying that it'd be easier to do this than it might be to introduce a whole new villain out of nowhere like Shen or Kai, and IMO Tai Lung is still the coolest villain from the whole series.
I mean, its confirmed tai lung is still around. He made a small cameo in the third movie: he was one of the jade figures kai wore, which means kai found him in the spirit realm and imprisoned him, like the others. Which means he was also freed like all the others after kais defeat. So, hes either back in the spirit realm, or in the real world. But hes definitely still around and kicking. Would be a pretty huge waste not to use the character again
