- The day has finally come, the Jeep got lifted all the way! I reached out to Teraflex because I think they make the best kits, and I got their long arm 6" lift kit with their adjustable piggyback shocks and adjustable steering stabilizer. I'm happy to say that it drives great and we did everything during the build to make this work like it should, including new drivelines and regearing to 5:38s front and rear. Much more interesting than adding more lights. Huge undertaking and lots of work. You'll lose some performance with the larger tires but I'm sure you'll address the engine or the gearing at a later date (maybe you did the gearing since I saw him removing the axle pumpkin covers). What a talented mechanic. He needs his own channel.
I just lifted my Jeep wj 4inches as my first car
@ 10:10 he pulled the whole assembly out of the diff. No reason to do that unless he was changing gear ratios. :)
Thanks for the nice comment, Chris is a great mechanic and I'm lucky to have him working on my Jeep! I didn't address it anywhere in the video (or the description) but it was regeared to 5:38 front and rear and this Jeep has a supercharger, so it drives just like it did with the 35"s minus the top speed.

FlowPublican Oh man, that thing is insane, but nothing beats the type of lift kits and tires they do where I'm from. I've seen lift kits almost as tall as me, and believe me, I'm tall. Imagine someone taking the stick height of their Dodge Ram 2500 and adding a Toyota Camry's worth of height to it. And then give it 40' tires.
Then custom out your bicycle.
