@@monophthalmus3254 I echo Rankcolour's comment. I don't think you screwed up. Just paid more for a version with sharper details, fewer parts (quicker build time) and much more pose-ability. It will also be worth more if/when you choose to sell it.
Really keen to see how easy this is to build in more dynamic poses like your resin lancer. A lot of the reviews already out there have the lance just pointing down or to the side but for me the whole appeal of the cerastus knights was how mobile they looked compared to questoris ones.
I bought one off eBay from a game shop in Scotland for 10 bucks cheaper than I could have in America even if shipping was like 32 pounds. I’m going to be waiting a while though. I just started a knight army. All I have is a warden and a pair of warglaives right now. I’ve been watching your knight and titan videos with envy for years so it’s entirely your fault 😜
I got mine yesterday. I was impressed at how much of the resin detail they managed to keep. The detail 100% is not as sharp or deep in many places compared to the resin kits and some detail is completely missing but it's still great to see it in plastic.
They look so different to the normal ones. I have a 3.2k chaos knight army and a 3.8k knight army. And have no intention to get any of the new 3 tall ones.... I'm waiting for the warhound though!
This was one of those miniatures where I was thinking "I don't collect anything that this can really be used with or go with, but I want it." I'm actually happy I didn't get it though, still a cool gangly guy though.
@@Sup3rSaiy3n last year we got Imperial Knight battleforce which everyone thinks impossible, so it's possible to have new knight kit on battleforce or another variant on cerastus vs cerastus renegade battle box style
@@RevanR I'm not sure about impossible. It's an old kit now at 9yrs old so want to maximise their profits by bundling it in with 'newer' models from 5 years ago. I think a Cerastus Knight in a battle force would be nice but it's wishful thinking as GW will make more profit selling it individually than at a discount. Maybe in a couple of years.

Depends what you mean by screwed up? You paid more for it but objectively you have a version with more details and sharper detail.

Seen someone assembling it today, just the legs but it’s so much taller than a regular knight it’s crazy

Totally agree, vehicles moving into resin is a no-brainer for GW. Hope we get more kits and the Space Marine super heavies
