Best two color brioche in the round video I have seen. Nobody has explained the placement of the non working yarn at the end of the round so my knitting was looking great except for that one column. So glad I now know the trick!!
I really don’t know what I would do without you! Sometimes I feel like I’m cheating because I use what I learn from you, to help other knitters at the shop where I work. Of course, I credit you and write down your name for them so they can view your videos if they wish. I just feel very fortunate that every time I embark upon a new technique, you’ve got me covered. I can’t thank you enough.
Thank you! I'm new to Brioche and couldn't quite get the colour transition at the end of the round. It's all clear now, so thank you so much for this tutorial. 💌
Hi Suzanne: Thank you, thank you! Your end-of-round instructions are so logical. I've been knitting a practice beanie in the round and the pattern instructions said to put the light yarn (brp rnd) to the back; the dark yarn (brk rnd) to the front. I wasn't happy with the results. I started following your tutorial and the color changes are easier to remember and they look great. Thank you again!
You just addressed my biggest problem! I think I can do the changes now that I see how you deal with the two colors, burp in front and bark in back! Thank you so much!
You made this look so “doable!” I was going to suggest, as a newish knitter and seeing the potential for mistakes, a video on fixing said mistakes....of course (it’s Suzanne after all) I checked and you have not one, but two!!! Looking forward to barking and burping 🤭As always, thanks for all you do! ✌🏼💛
Wonderful video! My problem is how to get from the Italian two-color cast to joining in the round and then setting up for the brioche pattern. In this video, you show very clearly how to knit 2-color brioche in the round, but not from the beginning, through the transitions and into the brioche pattern. Is there a video in which you address these things? Thanks!
This is not for two color brioche, but for Italian cast on, but you will get the idea - it is the same concept - ruclips.net/video/daebO9c5qDo/видео.html
Do you have a video of starting brioche from the cast on? I’ve tried so many times and never end up with the right number of stitches or they are in the wrong place.
Hi Suzanne: Often when I'm knitting a brk round, the yarn over from the previous round is on top of the stitch to be slipped and I have to separate it before I can do the slip. Is anyone else having this issue? I know that manually spreading the stitches apart on the cable can help, but is there something I can do differently on the brp round that will help? BTW, I'm an English knitter.
@@SuzanneBryan Sorry for the delay; I needed to start another brioche project so I could take photos. I will try to communicate with you through Ravelry.
