Hi Suzanne, I am attempting to do my shawl collar in the ITAG cardigan. I am doing it in one colour brioche and I can't seem to get it. In this video at the 17:30 mark you are coming up to the first double wrapped stitch, you do a brk and the double wrapped stitch is then also knit. Doesn't this take the brioche pattern out of pattern because after a brk the next stitch is slipped with yarn in front and then the yarn is carried over the top of the needle when you knit the next stitch, which isn't being done in this video. What am I not understanding here?
Hi Kathy, yes, it will be just a little out of sync, but because it is along the junction of the collar and the body of the sweater, it will not show on your work. Try it on a swatch first.
bought your pattern fingerlless gloves second time I ever made thumb didn't do the first one with fingers or increases m1 m1 that ,made me nuts till I finally got it ripped out a lot
Yes. Here is a video on brioche in the round - you would just incorporate the shorts rows at the appropriate spot. ruclips.net/video/oeZEOL0GOag/видео.html

Hope it is going better for you. Happy knitting.
Can this be done in the round for the back of a sweater neck? Where do you start the brioche round since it's not knit flat?
