"Get Cho ass off this planet"

"Alright 6... this is it."
"That was for Jorge!"
"That was for Kat!"
"That was for me"
“You think I’m scared of you alien freaks?!”
"Noble to Keys, we're at the pad"
"Copy Noble my pelican's ready clear an LZ"
Hearing this watching the brutes kill the marines and citizens during Alexandria really left a impact on me. It really felt like we’re fighting a losing battle and that’s what I loved about that falcon segment because it showed you what’s happening outside and you are hopeless to stop it.
If you want to paint this image in the audiences head you don’t tell it to them... you show it to them
I gotta say, no matter what people say about plot issues or what have you, this game is an example of how you SHOW don't TELL. You don't need to be told that Reach is falling, hell when I played this the first time and Jorge died, I already knew that the fall had begun, that's how well done the cutscenes and dialog were. And on the subject about not caring, once again the cutscenes and dialog are done in a way that despite you not knowing these people for long, you immediately begin to care for them. And this mission was the best in terms of showing it to you in terms of gameplay.
I agree 100% btw Reach is avenged in the future by the arbiter when he kills truth god that scene was so satisfying.
I felt like every mission after Tip of The Spear was this way
@@EternalPayne You do release it was Thel that glassed reach
I get emotional with this music, cause in the end, you know it’s inevitable you’re going to die, but one final effort to have a chance to defend against the covenant…..it’s such a emotional fight from start to finish honestly
Remember Reach
Rip grafton
When this played during the Falcon scene on Exodus I really felt a sense of hopelessness, Watching the brutes kill every civilian, marine and trooper in their sight and the mf plane getting shot down
Wait, there were brutes killing civilians during the falcon scene? I didn’t see that
Every time I hear 1:11 I think “We are doing this for more than just Reach. This is for Halo”
"Cortana, all I need to know is did we lose them?"
"I think we both know the answer to that one, sir."
I think this is my favorite song in the whole game. How it shifts from the low key of Reach to the higher key of the familiar Halo theme. As one fight ends, another begins. And though this fight may be lost, the fight that will begin elsewhere will be what turns the tide and saves the day.
All i hear is a more grand version of the original halo theme and its amazing
The first time in years I went back to play this game all the way through a couple of months ago. Man this song is the feels, I've never felt so emotional for a song in a game since Dearly Beloved from Kingdom Hearts 1. Its like all of Bungies Halo culminated here and this song represents the legacy they left behind. I miss Halo with Bungie and I hope Infinite can once again capture the magic I feel Halo 4 and 5 lost.
Kingdom hearts 2 twilight town theme will make you cry bro🫣
Ok, who tf disliked it?
The two zealots that killed Emile but also he killed them.

Sometimes, I really think a major factor that plays into the ESRB's ratings is the level of maturity it takes to understand the story that's being told.
Hence, the story being told here is one of a species-wide genocide against humanity by a seemingly unstoppable alien foe.
and so it ends... in the beginning.
