Is it all about the sound or is there any difference in performance or does it just sound like there is lol?

Just about the sound and looks really. I didn't notice any real increase in performance, though with other mods it may help... I've just changed the airbox lid & it definitely feels quicker now, and sounds a lot better... Vid coming at some point soon (I messed up the mic sound, so will prob re-record it). Thanks.

Hello fellow 390 Adventure owner 😃
Where or who said that about running the engine for 1/2 hour to get it adjusted to the fuel thingy?
I don’t get it? Why did you have to do that and what exactly was the purpose of doing that?????
It sounded like you’re saying.... that the ECU or whatever that thing is called is making allowances for the new exhaust and then making automatic self adjustments 😯to how the engine is handling the fuel air flow ????
    Please in lighten me........
Sorry I got no idea about all this stuff or of the “correct” technical terminology to use.
I am about to also put on a MUVV Slipon exhaust on my 390 as well, so that is why i ask......🤷‍♂️
Any info you could provide would be great.
    CHEERS 🍻

The KTM dealer (i.e. Jim Aim Motorcycles) when I bought the exhaust. I said that I would fit it myself so long as it didn't invalidate the warranty. He said that's fine, just let the bike tick over for 20 - 30 mins to let the ECU adjust to the new fuel air mixture... or words to that effect. Thanks.

      @@Screamifyoumeanit ahh ok, thanks 😊
Interesting point about the warranty, i had the same question to my dealer ...if i fit a slip on exhaust on and so e driving lights ( i want the Cyclops ones that have the wiring harness supplied and hook in to the original wiring harness perfectly so all you need is use stock hi / low beam and no other switch is required) and no one could give me the answer. I ended up writing directly to KTM Headquarters in Austria..but still waiting for a reply.
      Thanks for the clarification 👍

My dealer said approx. 15 min of running on idle. Yesterday i installed EURO 5 homologated GPR GP EVO4 Poppy - directly from Italy for 449 Euro: ruclips.net/video/YLRQsv4P-Us/видео.html
I was thinking about Akrapovic - but it looks too "europolished" in terms of sound and also a bit expensive. I know people that ordered Leo Vince GP One on KTM 390 Adventure. ;-)

hello, with the akrapovic, how is the sound compared to the original?
    is there a big difference?

It sounds nicer, a bit more 'throaty' but not much louder TBH... It looks lots better though imo.

In Australia that exhaust cost over $1000 AUD.

£568 in the U.K... Not sure how that converts to AUD... I got it for £473, discounted when I bought the bike. I must say, it does have a very annoying vibration though, which is disappointing for such an expensive end can! Thanks.
