Leo thanks for the review!! Great way to see the differences! I would prefer the Ampero because it sounded significantly more real to me. Although the tone capture feature is nice in the GE200 at the end I haven't heard it to be that real so overall even though I'd be more limited in the Ampero there are a ton of good sounding amps and effects.
Hi Dario, thank you so much, I'm really happy that you like the videos and your English is not bad at all! Well, I try to answer to all your message...your feedback, comments and opinions mean a lot to me!!!
I don't know if anyone else has mentioned it already but at least on the Ampero One you can not only connect an expression pedal to the "Exp 2" connector, but a foot switch to get two more foot switches (a total of five). If that can't be done on the GE200 (it didn't look like that when I browsed through the manual quickly) the Ampero One might have the edge in a live situation.
Ampero has this fs-1 "momentary" pedal available, but I'm not really sure it's compatible with the MP-80 unit. If it was, then it would make my choice clear.
@@eirinn The FS-1 and the MP-80 are indeed compatible with each other. You can read more about in which way the FS4 and FS5 can be set up in the user manual on page 16. hotoneaudio.oss-cn-shenzhen.aliyuncs.com/prod/support/MP-80(Ampero%20One)_Online%C2%A0Manual_EN_Firmware%20V1.1_200813.1597911000316.pdf So if you have no need for a second expression pedal you can have two more foot switches with the FS-1 instead.

Thanks Leo for this review, I was close to GE200 and I got it clear. For a home guitar player I think GE200 it´s a good choice for the price/sound and the plus it can be used as USB interface. Could be nice if you upload some of your preset. Great playing Leo!!

Hi Luigi, they are absolutely NOT "ignorant" questions ... and sorry if I haven't been clear in the video. I try to clarify: when I speak of the pedalboards with Jensen + Shure, I refer to their virtual reproductions available in the pedalboard itself. But since each pedalboard has its own "version" of this speacker and microphone, I think it is also useful to test the pedalboards with an IR (Impulse Response) equal for both, to evaluate only the sound quality of the amplifier model. This IR is still speaker + microphone (always Jensen + SM 57). To use the IR with the true amp, I record only the amp with the Suhr reactive load and then I load the IR with the torpedo wall of sound in the computer (this IR is the same used in the pedalboards). Great rundown and comparison. Can you share your finding for their non-amp modeling tones? Can't seem to find any around that specifically test and compare the effects/modulation/drum machine sound. So far with every thing I have seen is the Ampero IRs suck, but the modelling seems superior to the Mooer and much closer to the real amps, you just need quality custom IRs and you are good to go.
