I have a Talo g45 build with a radian ramjet and afterburner, TLR HL-X, glock performance trigger and JohnnyGlocks Vex trigger shoe. I used to run a KKM barrel and comp combo but wanted to shorten the overall package. The ramjet still performs very well using nato spec and hotter so im happy with the trade off.
Nice Glock! I chased the triggers in my Gen 3 - Gen 4 Glocks for years. After a while, I realized that comparing actually shooting vs slowly pressing the trigger to emphasize every iota of the range of the trigger is not time well spent. All I do now is a Dot connector and just shoot my guns. Your trigger is an example of all my Gen 5's.
@@justinmoore4088 absolutely, I cared about triggers until I realized 98% of them make your gun worse. From primers to drop safety to how ludicrously expensive they are. I’ve come to like the Glock trigger quite a bit as well.
Sometimes you get lucky and the tolerances stack and align in just the right way that gives you a fantastic trigger. Sometimes it's the opposite, even with gen 5's.
I prefer the more compact compensators that are still very effective. Agency Arms Sage Comp is my favorite but feels the same as the radian afterburner/ramjet
KKM comps are definitely the most aggressive but I really like the interface of the Sage comp. Sage Dynamics is one my my favorite channels and id love to grab some of his products.
most likely the recoil spring needed to be broken in, I got a pretty used 45 (likely thousands of rds before me), threw on a kkm barrel + comp (stainless though) and had no issues all the thousands of rounds I shot it, from 115-147
I second this. Same KKM comp + barrel. I ran the combo on the glock new and had similar malfunctions. After swapping to a previously used recoil spring I had from a past build (roughly 2k rounds through it), I had 0 malfunctions. Mostly ran 115 and 124gr FWIW. I now use this setup in USPSA and have been happy so far. Obviously I’m not going to be Uber competitive with this setup in open division shooting minor but the shooting experience has been fun so far.
@@ArmadilloArmamentI’ve ran every plastic fantastic brand and gun you can think of in 3 gun the past several years, and I wish I would have went 2011 years ago! Would have saved me tons of money and time. I’m never going back lol!
@@SeanGCO Good to hear, Glad its working well. I definitely appreciate what Staccato and 2011's do. Ive made a few videos on them infact. But my experience/opinions always bring me back to Glock and specifically my Roland. Thanks for watching.
@@svenskaskene199 The Radian doesnt offer the same amount of recoil control as the kkm. It does have a much better install process and is legal in more states and can obviously be removed and ususally doesnt affect reliability. But the KKM in terms of performance is significantly better. I would say the radian is a better generalist comp while the KKM is more for a tuned system.

Phenomenal setup, I’ll probably grab a ramjet for a 19 eventually.

its the recoil spring not the barrel. Especially with the acro weight on top. I'm thinking of doing a similar setup with my 45
That’s a really good point. Thanks!

Bros I did this build but with RMR two years ago. Liked it but it made me buy a Staccato.
How’s your staccato holding up?

Why go through all that when the radian barrel/comp is out there?

@@ArmadilloArmament😅
Just stick to a stock Glock
Nothing wrong with that.
