i grew up with the reboot but i very much like both. I do prefer the reboot though especially how they handle "going turbo" with the different forms are just more appealing to me (similar vibes to like ben 10 for example)
This version did feel more Ben 10 inspired, but in a good way.
I can’t specifically remember which episode it was, but there was an episode with Max’s dad bonded with Steel as well. And his dad definitely gave me Grandpa Max vibes
I prefer the reboot, that one was my childhood

We need another max steel reboot that completely combines elements from both previous series.
I grew up with this show more than the original I feel like they could do another reboot eventually and basically combining both concepts together could be kinda cool
I would absolutely love a crossover between the two different Max’s. They’re each different enough that they would bounce off each other well. They missed an opportunity with those two

I was a kid when the orginal Max Steel was on air, thing is it was on at the wrong times to catch my attention. It would show in the morning when I was waiting for the bus or it would be on when something I was already interested on would be on. I never really got the chance to try it. However, while I was older when the reboot came on I had more of a chance to watch it and I loved the reboot. I still would like the chance to watch the original.
You missed out. The reboot was cool, but the writing in the original one was much funnier. Really different vibe overall, but it still mostly holds up today
This show was GOATED. I don't understand why Max Steel never got bigger after the 2013 show

This is the Max Steel that i kee growing up, I never knew that the original existed up until this year
This show was my childhood I even still have some of my max steel toys
While I’ve never watched the original series, (tried to but just couldn’t get through the first few seconds), I did get the chance to watch this version, and I loved it back then. Eventually found myself revisiting this show 3 years ago, and it’s still awesome. Max’s suit was really cool, Steel himself was great, even the villains are good, especially Dredd. Absolutely loved all of the Turbo Modes throughout this series. And I can’t forget their iconic catchphrase. Go Turbo! Sadly, this series fell off so hard once the green T.U.R.B.O Energy came into play and separating Max and Steel. The live action movie was okay. Making them more like the original Max Steel was a big mistake for this version, cause that basically killed this franchise for good.
Honestly, you’re one of the first people I’ve heard that watched the live action film. It’s cool to hear it was decent.
I loved the suits in the version. I’m still nostalgic for the OG version, but this reboot was really cool too

The reason why Max Steel works was a superhero jump on let me see many continuation spin-offs are even won the first reboots I'm not talking how Disney Marvel and Star Wars but this is awesome made from nerdcore who started out as the Canadians were the first one do in the 3D shows until Dragon Booster Storm Hawks Hot Wheel Battle Force 5 Max Steel and ending an off with Slugterra those were good times.

This is my one of my favorite superhero series that was perfect for SciFi Geeks like myself 🤓 🤩🩵
I enjoyed it nearly every minute of it of how unique it was, how things are Chand how it's Inspiration, World Building, & Gallery that rivals Ben 10 itself! The movie was just Okay, he understood what they're trying to do though I guess it was a bit janky in comparison to the show itself. My favorite Turbo forms of max steel: Speed, Clone, Rocket, Heat, Spike, Super, & Titan!
There's one particular cross over I always want to do for the Transformers Aligned Continuity: What if Makino invaded Cybertron during the golden age ( Specifically right before Orion Pax and Megatronous plead their case the Cybertron Council for Primes)
