The one thing I love the most about this series is how his transformation is an attack in it of itself so the whole “waiting for the transformation to end” sequence is just because the villain doesn’t want to get hit by an explosion when they go for an attack.
Funny thing about that, that happens a lot in real tokusatsu, like Kamen Rider and Super Sentai. Especially if the transformation item is a gun.
Power Rangers forgot to steal that.
Makes sense as during the transformation, the containment field keeping Max's TURBO energy in check is briefly released.

I found out that the Max Steel Motorcycle and the Turbo Racer were part of my collection that I had kept for so long

This show is one of my childhood favorites an underrated gem. Max steel is one of most coolest ,most interesting original superheroes I've seen in a long time. The show needs to revived and continued, hopefully as another TV show or a comic.
Or a multiverse crossover between the original/classic Max Steel and the reboot Max Steel

As much as I enjoyed it too, it is probably for the best that it not be revived. Otherwise, it would be in the hands of people who would most likely hollow it out and ruin it in order to make it more "modern". In short, better to just enjoy and remember it for what it was.

The reason why superheroes tend to *leap* around a lot in comics and animation is because it’s insanely easier to draw and animate.
This show was so much fun. And the sound design was great

I love this show, such an awesome superhero story, cool suit designs from every transformation, intense turbo powers, and the fights are really dope. 2013 Max Steel is such an incredible series.

This show goes so long with just the three modes and you never even notice until 15 minutes of a 25 minute video are just those modes.
This was HEAT back then, there was a movie of it too.

Returning to this show after watching a lot of tokusatsu (I can safely say Power Rangers truly is inferior to the source material), Max Steel is America's Kamen Rider. It has everything from the cool suits, transformation sequence which also knocks back the enemy, his signature vehicle being a motorcycle, good story and the hero's power sharing its origin with the villains with Steel being the same species as some of the villains of the week, due to being an ultralink.
Funny thing is, Steel being alive and the source of Max's power also reminds me of Kamen Rider Kiva and Kivat. The tiny bat thing that serves as his belt buckle is a character in itself.
This maybe me misreading however steel isn’t max’s power source max is his own it’s just that he’s essentially unstable and can’t hold the energy without going boom without steel however he does get a decent amount of control on his turbo energy in later seasons however he still needs steel to at minimum not accidentally overload
