Loved old animated kids shows that weren't afraid to be dark and actually have good memorable characters and emotional events. If this show ever got like a more mature, well written reboot I'd be down for it, possibly expanding Rexs powers as there's so much his powers can do, reminds me of Prototype but making tech instead.
If I ever become an executive at one of this companies a more mature reboot will most probably be on my radar

We need more dark shows for kids. The premise behind this world is what drew me into the show in the first place (then, of course, the characters, action scenes, ect.-- lol).
This show really needs another season to wrap everything up. I know it's unlikely, but if Young Justice could come from the grave, why not Generator Rex?

Generator is extremely underrated, not just the entirety of the show but also Rex as a character! Rex with all of his power and abilities/transformations can defeat anyone 1v1, enough said!

@@christhefiend oh no I agree, superman is insanely strong I get that and he makes the fights boring bc be the strongest. But Rex is also extremely powerful in his own right. I feel like Rex’s arsenal can match him. His Smack hands, BFS, Battle saw, Slam cannon, Punk busters, Rex rider, Blast caster, Funchucks, Bad axes, Sky Slyder, Block party. He can combine his builds simultaneously. Remember his omega1 builds are way more powerful and he can’t die either due to his nanites healing him and restarting his heart during extreme situations. The creator Duncan who created ben 10 as well stated Rex can make new builds during extreme situations bc he has notebook of all new builds he never showcased. He also has his evo form, omega1 form, and meta Nanite(god mode)form. Imo without Rex’s god mode I feel like it’ll go down to the wire, with it he can blink Superman out of existence.

But Rex’s god mode will win guaranteed bc it’s stated he can do whatever he wants and due to the cosmology, rex is multiverse with Alien x. Rex’s base form being allowed to use all of his builds, and other two transformations except god mode can make a gr8 battle against Superman.

One of the greatest and most underrated shows of our childhood, the crossover with him and Ben 10 was amazing they don't make them like this anymore
This and Ben 10 was so awesome to me as a kid and teenager along with Kim Possible, Danny Phantom and Jake Long American Dragon, Spider-Man, x-men and DC cartoons I'm such a big fan of all those animated shows

It is a good thing that this show was finished. Had logical conclusion. Yeah, you can say that ending was a bit weak. Won't argue that it felt like another episode. Still kind of sad that this show ended.
I like that sometimes his overconfidence gets the better of him and fails at time or as well as the storytelling of machines like he can have shortages or malfunctions but ultimately gets better at having them
Rex has an amazing power. The idea of being able to change your body into machines is a cool one, but it would take a lot of practice to master.
Damn, just had to rewatch this last year after feeling nostalgic....why don't they make them like this anymore? Generator Rex, secret Saturdays,Max Steel....I always felt that a Max Steel, generator Rex and Ben 10 crossover would be godly 😫 it'd blow everyone away.

@@yalcninal1168 He could get one easy, despite his laid back and carefree attitude, Rex is remarkably smart, Highschool was no problem for him and we even learn he uses mathematical equations to calculate some of his weapons, like aiming his cannon.
I'd imagine you'd need to manage how much weight you'd add to yourself if you get too crazy with yhe power . . . But that's nothing an understanding of physics can't help with.

According to Duncan Rouleau (someone who worked on Generator Rex), Rex could make his own Omnitrix so long as he had the blueprints, alien DNA and patience.
Technically he did when he and upgrade fused for a bit

These days they'd just animate his machines with 3DCG. I appreciate that they dedicated to animating the builds in 2D drawings.
As a kid I always wanted to watch this, but living in the Philippines in a poor family we couldn't afford cable or other channels. But it's ok, filipino dubbed Naruto, Dragonball, One piece still gave me good memories every monring/afternoon

In a way, they kinda did, but not as an episode. In the Cartoon Network comics, there was another crossover where Rex went to Ben's universe to catch The Pack.
I remember how badass and amazing it was to see Rex's omega (aka Ver. 2) builds because it is usually a sign that the bad guys have really pissed off Rex
