I just discovered this channel a few weeks ago when I was looking for a comprehensive review of math from arithmetic to calc II. From what I have watched from the math series, to a few OChem videos and now simultaneously starting the anatomy and physiology vids I am completely blown away by how concise yet comprehensive these videos are. I have yet to see a unexplained leap in logic and have only seen one very minor piece of ambiguity in explanation. This channel is absolute gold; zero fluff yet Dave seems to cover all relevant information necessary to learn and understand a particular topic. A very rare combination.
i'm not in any classes for it, i dont have any desire to get a degree in human biology or biology in general, but your dedication to making informative and creative content for anyone, even if they are just looking to satisfy thier curiosity like me, is incredible.
I like that you link histology and biochemistry. I think this is very important for understanding the whole picture of the world. Unfortunately, often the knowledge of students is very fragmented and it is difficult for them to combine information. Thanks for your videos.
Thanks a lot Prof Dave. Anatomy made simple. I think for the remaining time of my 4yrs course in School of Nursing, ill always come to RUclips to seek more from your videos. Many thanks from 🇰🇪
I was dying to see content like this!! You are really an awesome teacher.... Full of knowledge... Looking forward for all of the Animal Tissue Series!!
Our lecturer sent us a link of your video in our lab group... We are in Sudan, currently in war and working solely online ... you gave what we wouldn't have got in suck circumstances
Epithelial tissue explains a lot of things that I didn't know when I was a kid. Like, I knew the general layout of the body but I didn't think about what covered everything or separated things.
thank you for the great video, really nice explanations and i like the way to are not talking to fast. I tried watching crash course anatomy and physiology - since it has a lot of views , but the guy in the video just talks to damn fast for my taste and i am not able to process all the info he is trying to say. I would choose this over it any day.
Plz share it with ur frnd and family i personally in mi medi college if i dnt listen to professor dev lecture before we start our normal lecture i believe i would understand anything frm any other lecture
This tissue were giving me headaches i dnt am nw done with the first lecture epithelia and understood it well hope by the tym am done with the 4 tissue i will also leave a better comment thnk you professor Dev
Love the video, but I always taught that stratified columnar was a columnar cell with a cuboidal cell below it (looks like an exclamation point). You said it was just layers of columnar cells. Now, I'm not sure which is correct. Don't want to be teaching the wrong information.
Hi Plaease i have a question concerning the apical part of tle epithelial cell... cilia , flagella & microvilli are in the same place or each one of them in certain organ?
I think it means that the basal lamina’s role is to provide support for the cells and tissues it surrounds. Scaffolding literally means “a structure providing support.”
