      I guess, this is NOT the real Bruce Lee!!!
      The moves don't fit to him!!
      Even not enough power - when he kicked a guy with a makiwara.. that guy would have left the ground - THAT WAS HIS UNBELIEVABLE POWER!!!!
      Even the look of his face.. when "he" turns around - the jaws & chin bones won't fit to the real one - If you look carefully
      AND B. L. always looked into the rolling camera - before, during or after demonstrating techniques..
      And he always smiled, because he enjoyed, what he was doing
      So thats my opinion

      @@KCobra-tj8rf ...this footage was taken from the Lee estate, and was edited and marketed by the person who owns the rights of Bruce Lee films (who was also trained by Dan Inosanto). This footage is genuine.
      What you have to understand is martial arts training isn't as glamorous as the movies. It is slow, it is repetitive, and dare I say it is boring. While Bruce used custom made heavy bags (standard made bags were too light for his attacks), at the end of the day it is still just martial art training.

      @@KCobra-tj8rf lol ya know as far as training this is just light training and Bruce probably wanted to get a good look at his form, his mistakes etc. I will say I grew up with a pro boxer who sparred 3 hall of fame boxers. He taught me well and I'm more skillful at hitting the bag then Bruce from this footage but i still bet my money on it that he'd destroy me in a sparring match or street fight and punches harder than me 😂.....there another footage where he is training James Coburn where hes much faster...with those comparisons and the sparring footage this was light training with some vigor at best.

      @yitroyasharahla5404 anyone can punch a bag in 1 spot continuously that's not special buddy.. those punches were terrible.. worst form ever seen.. any actual trained fighter scoffs at that footage it's laughably bad and it proves you've never thrown a punch in your life. I've trained 20+ years muay thai and jiujitsu and I'm not young so you sit down. And yes it is a 40lb bag you can prove that by looking up Bruce lees punching bags because they are still around.. anyone who thinks this bag is heavier than 40lbs has never hit a bag.. you can clearly see its a half filled rag bag.. open your eyes.
      While you're at it type in "Bruce lee 300lb bag" and look for the video with ramsey he shows the clip of Bruce lee kicking his 300lb bag and it doesn't even move..
      How about you google different size bags and compare the size difference because heavy bags are upwards of 4-5x the size of this lite bag.
      You don't know what you're talking about.

    • @mo-em1ke
      @mo-em1ke Месяц назад

      @yitroyasharahla5404 you don't know what you're talking about. That's a 40lb atlas bag that isn't even filled all the way. There's a vide9 of Bruce lee kicking a 300lb bag and you can see the size difference for comparison and the 300lb bag doesn't even move.. you've confused 2 different pieces of footage and assumed this is a heavy bag but if you bothered looking up actual heavy bags you'd see the significant size difference. This all proves you've never hit a bag in your life.
      And btw I'm not young, I've got 20+ years muay thai and jiujitsu behind me so yes I do know what I'm talking about, these are some of the worst technique punches you'll ever see. Literally nothing about it was on point...

    • @mo-em1ke
      @mo-em1ke Месяц назад

      @yitroyasharahla5404 go look up heavy bags because you are confused about the weight of this bag. You have confused this footage with Bruce lees 300lb bag footage obviously you're unaware that other footage exists because you don't know what you're talking about, theres another piece of footage where you can see the bag is significantly larger, like 5x the size of this one and it barely moves when struck. I have 20+ years in muay thai and jiujitsu so I know exactly what I'm talking about. You've never hit a bag in your life and it shows.

      Footage where vic moore blocks lee succesfully, multiple times, before they step out center mats.
      Was in black belt magazine and the footage is out there, you just wont find in on the likes of beardys or bruce lee real fight channel because they absolutely hate that footage that shows bruce lee was about on par with vic moore in terms of speed, they always only show you the 2 famous punches but not the 4 previous.
      This is on footage.. even at your most generous ignoring the blocked ones then that would put Bruce lees max speed at just slightly faster at acting than vic moore was at reacting, because even on the missed ones vic was close, and even managed to tag lees hand on the retract, which means he was very close on the last 1.. and vic moore isnt that fast...
      Then you have his bag work and his sparring footage which is absolutely laughable..

Where most seem to tense in between striking and kicking and they burn themselves out. All of him was working together fir in one moment he’s a hipster then a serious worker then laughing his ass off. He wasn’t holding back any part of himself and this inspires me more then he was the best fighter or greatest action hero.

    It's very saddening that many people do not believe Bruce Lee was an actual martial artist. As for terms of learning martial arts you, gravitate towards being one with your soul, mind and body which is the true epitome of learning martial arts. Although Bruce never recorded an actual professional fight which clearly doesn't state that he's not a true martial artist. You can clearly see he has great form and has been training and was gifted with certain attributes to martial arts aswell.
    Many masters of martial arts during that time period and before believed that martial arts techniques should only be used to as a self expression of one self and should only be used for life and death situations like for example as for self defense.
    Many martial arts master often during that time period and before believe that although martial arts can be self expressive, but it can also often be used for violent and greedy temptations. As for why many students that learn martial arts techniques from their master must obey and be discipline first to learn and must only use when needed.
    Knowing facts about Bruce I believe he lived by that philosophy of martial arts in his life. Not for showing off or to win a competition or have intentions to harm someone but to have self discipline in one's nature and their capabilities.

      @Loobie-q6k don't have to have been alive because there's literal video footage of Bruce lee having terrible technique in both sparring and bag work.
      In his sparring footage he's flat footed, no head movement, no footwork, and he gets tagged multiple times by his beginner student. In his bag work his punches are sloppy, slow, and have bad form.
      Then we have his documented workouts with gym cards showing he wasnt all that strong. And we also know he had a serious back injury from training showing he was training wrong, and susceptible to injury.
      Then we have his documented -10 vision showing he was borderline legally blind without glasses.
      Plus we have his 0-0 fighting record showing he had no real experience in combat.
      Idc what you think you saw cause let's not forget tens of thousands of people around your age also swear they witnessed Nelson mandalas funeral in the 60s which never happened and gave rise to the term the Mandela effect. So no I don't trust what you think you saw because we have factual data that shows old people remember things wrong and remember things that actually didn't even happen.
      I spoke with an old man who said he was at the 1967 long beach demonstrations and witnessed Bruce lee play ping pong with nunchucks, and yet that never happened, the ping pong nunchucks was a commercial made in 2008 by jwt advertising using a lookalike and a cgi ball.. so he remembered something that never happened..

      Psssshhh...of course the nun chuck-pin pong video wasn't Bruce! Doesn't take a video expert to detail the difference.
      By your research mentality I've figure you would have known have Bruce body and posture were exactly like, knowing you quoted what was documented from his minor conditions he suffered and had.
      Yes, I agree he does look sloppy here at some thrown kicks and punches but, does that changes the view of how everyone thinks of him.
      I don't think of highly of any individual because its cringe but, I give recognition where it's due. he was a pioneer in his craft trying to morph and hybrid his style - non style into a fighting capability which many weren't capable of even doing or thinking during that time! Way ahead of his time!!! By you even knowing his minor conditions he had, it also played a part of why he looks so sloppy at some point of the video.
      Anyways with common sense that the pioneers of that field would never best what we have now. Just like the Wright brothers! Their sophisticated work of creating an actual aircraft during 1903 was astonishing but it's so sloppy made and isn't as professionally constructed like today. But that doesn't take away what they done and accomplished just like Bruce.
      I never claimed for him to be the best fighter of all time or had the greatest form and technique. Just know that man was a mad scientist in the battle lab trying to perfect or better his style or grouping styles together!🤘💯

      @Shanethefilmmaker Год назад

      @@mac_-mtlmcal First of all, JKD covers ground striking and wrestling. Gene Lebell inspired Bruce to take up Grappling, one of the corner stones of Judo, Jiu Jitsu and Wrestling. For someone who is a big MMA fan you're ignorant to the fact that this guy was mixing martial arts already.
      Second of all, this is a training video. Not a demonstration video. He's practicing and honing his skills. That's like saying Goku sucks because we spent too much time watching him try and fail to Catch Bubbles and Hit Gregory, before he finally got them.
      Third. People seem to forget that JKD encourages and includes adaptation and incorporation and evolution in your skills. Even back when he gave it a name, he was constantly working on ways of improving on it. Meaning had he lived he would have been able to study MMA when it evolved from humble beginnings to the UFC spectacle we see today. Then hack away what he deems inessential about it while incorporating what is essential into his over all concept.
      That's the thing that ticks me off about you detractors, you keep assuming that he's only trying to make one style and stick to it and that he'd never change or evolve and as a result get his ass kicked. This is constantly learning just as he's teaching as well. Maybe actually look into him before even breathing.

    trust me - his most serious training was off camera... 18 years of training and just a few minutes of footage on camera...
    Most of the negative comments are not based on logic...
    Bruce was a 10 in his demos , tv appearance s, and movies...
    So you can’t say 3+3 = 10 .. so there must be something missing from the equation..

    Damnn if you punch the bag like that at a boxing gym theyy laugh at youu lolll. Back in the day there were no real boxing instructions,, only kunfu karate takewando and etc.. mostly kick related

      You are serious? Watch the moves of the heavy bag. Seriously which boxer in the same weight category "140lbs" could to make waltz an 80lbs bag like Bruce does?

      The punching technique of the JKD is very powerful. One day friends invited me to a party where there was a heavy bag "100 lbs" and they challenged me to make waltz it. I used the JKD punching technique and I can assure you that no one laughed, on the contrary they were all surprised by the power of this technique. Now if we talk about speed it's other things, it is better in this case used the wing chun, and Bruce Lee mastered it very well.

      @@giantguy888 i respectfuly disagree, because I have same bag right in fron of my door nd not that heavy specialy the small ones, besides the bag didnt he say "boards dont hit back" well since his hands are way too loww would be super easy to counterr, anyone with experince can agree that his chin open nd hands are down rasy counter if ur good boxer (at boxing only).. his feet are his bread and butter for sure wht im saying dude
