This is the exact one I have carried since ordering it when they first came out. I know it's collectible, but our time on this earth is short and I love it.
I haven’t been around here much for the last couple of years. It was good to see a video from you pop up in my feed. Hope all is well. That’s a beauty.
I have one in the same serial range. These had the the thumb safety recall by colt back in the day and they had replaced it. Affected WW1 repro with safety recalls are late production of carbonia blue and early production of black oxide WW1 repros.
Wow, I can't believe you are still using the intro I made you 6yrs ago, still looks good. Congrats on the channel growth. I completely got out of the gun/prepper community because youtube started getting weird about weapons and they didn't allow me to advertise, so I completely deleted my channel. I was looking at all the channels I helped and many have either disappeared or stopped uploading, there's a handful that are still going.
@@Icarryone then there is still hope.i kinda built one off a rock island 1911 but you can still tell its not exactly period correct but its mine and its awesome
Ah yes, the old inequality symbol. ( > ) Well, since you're saying that the 1911 is "greater than" Glock, I'd have to agree. (And yes, my university degree occasionally pays off.)
it's kinda sad to see that colt nowadays only waters down to reheat old designs for a quick buck from the collectors market still cool, but the wrong direction imo
Love 1911s! Hope new management (cz) will make awesome 1911 with (cz) quality control!!!
It's yet to be seen how Colt is actually going to fit into their scheme of things - but I hope you're right about quality control.

👍🤠
That is one fine side arm !
Thank you!
I’ve always loved the original look. They even shoot great when there’s enough light to see that front sight. The repro is very nicely rendered.
👍🤠
Glad to see you. Very nice Colt.
Hey, thanks!
Great gun, thank you for sharing!
My pleasure Norm!

Happy Independence Day Sir. I hope your day was good.
It was most excellent - thank you!
I hope they bring it back
They won't - and that's what makes this collectable.
Yeah buddy!! A 1911 should be in every collection
Agreed! 👍

So cool.
👍🤠
I love that gun!
👍🤠
Sweet👍🍻
Thank you kindly!
Pretty pony
Another great and interesting video. Check daily to see if you have any new videos!
👍🤠
I remember readin this on magazine years ago. Its a limited "re-intoduction" (more accurate, made as they were) rather reproduction.
The semantics of language seems to be at work here.
Nice 1911 bud
Thank you!
I'm here to find out what your nightstand gun is. 😎
🤐
im jelous.ive been searching for one of those for years
It's one of those "right place / right time" things for me.

Good choice!
1911 > glock

Now that Colt has been acquired by CZ, I guess we'll see what their future looks like.
@@Icarryone I hope it works out for them
