Pretty lake, great to hear about the creek and rivers that make up the lake.
Love the Spring wattle I can see as you are walking around and the lake views are awesome.
Our Spring so far has been very cold, especially the icy winds. It has also been quite wet.
Thank you for taking us along Chris. Have a great weekend. 🙏🏼🤠👍🏼♥

Thanks Jo Jo, yeah our spring has been super windy and mostly unpleasant too. Wish we'd had some of the rain though! The wattle is almost done again, so we can all wash our cars again 😛
Thanks for stopping by, have a fun week ✌🏻

Nice one Chriss . Thanks for the look around . You're teasing me with this one lol . I just put this one on my bucket list for some bush kayak camping . Doesn't looks like there are many flat spots , so the hammocks will come in handy

yeah I figure any big lake would be a kayakers idea of fun. When I was pondering buying a kayak or a canoe I had this lake in mind, as well as the Myall Lakes of course 🙂
Thanks for dropping in again ✌🏻

@@outandabout_oz Have you decided what to get ? As far as I see the only advantage of a canoe is they are easier to pack and you can fit more in them . but its a difficult choice too as there are so many different types of kayaks to choose from all with their pros and cons . The main advantage of a sit in kayak is you can cover more water quicker . they are more stable in waves and wind . you wouldn't want to or be able to take a canoe safely into some conditions you can take a kayak into .

Looks a nice spot mate, also - driving or sailing depends on the type of boat 😂. Easier to just say ‘skipper’ haha

Ha Ha Ha, cheers, I didn't expect anyone to comment about that but thanks. Either way though, you probably don't want me behind the wheel 😛

Very informative video, will have to check this dam out sometime in the future. Any hidden swimming holes or waterfalls you know of, around that area? Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

It is a recreational place so there are swimming spots all over the place. There is a waterfall on the way in, where I did the part with the swish from up the hill to down the hill is a waterfall when it has been raining, but it was just a trickle that day.
Boating and fishing are the main pursuits, along with lots of beer 😛
Thanks for stopping by and thanks for reaching out with a comment, cheers ✌🏻
