- Rubber boot on the bottom of the coil pack was old and broke in the spark plug chamber. I didnt have a pick set at the time so i used a wire hanger. I also couldnt see in properly so i used the camer on my phone. Had the footage, so i decided to share in case anyone needed advice. Like and hit the subscribe button fof more videos
I tried the hooking method and just tore the rubber to pieces. My life savers were alligator forceps which technically are for ears but perfect for this.
I’m exactly where he was, accept mine is back by the damn firewall so no visual but mt damn phone every so often to check my progress. I don’t even know why I’m commenting, DAMN IT
Wow I just went through one of these and it was against the firewall. FYI I used a straw and with a napkin wrapped around it to get some air in there make the area more viewable. Remember once this plug comes out you don't want anything going into the cylinder.
I have no idea what was going on. Maybe you could narrate alittle. Or have someone hold your phone and video. What did you use for the hook tool?
I gotta do this damn surgery today too on my BMW X5 - at least it's in the first cylinder well...reading over how people have it in the 6th or last or by firewall - OMG would that SUCK SO BAD!!!!
Where can I get a hook like that?
The hook you made is way too damn big for what your are trying to do.
5/8 hole saw on a drill works better and quicker.
how so? ..... I have this problem and am open to all ideas please ....
40 seconds into it and we are still looking? No...
Great camera 🙄
Camera man!!! Where are you?
