    My husband and I taught English in Surat Thani, Thailand. Khanom Krok was my favorite breakfast! So much so that I bought a cast iron pan and paid extra for heavy luggage on our return home flight lol Making this recipe now :) thanks so much!

    Hi great video in south India we prepare the same but we ferment the batter for 7 to 8 hours it is known as paddu

    I enjoy your VDO so much.Just wonder how do you call ขนมไทย ชนิดหนี่ง made from sticky rice flour wrap shredded caramelised sweetened coconut the size of quail egg ,round ball shape and cover all over by shredded young coconut.They sometimes made in various colours and the flour part is not sweet only sweet from inside part. Thanks.

    Wow.. Siri..these looks decadent.. Love the recipe.. I will eat it for breakfast everyday :) I didnt know you could put muffin tin on the stove top like that. They are more like muffins but surprise surprise they call it pancake..hmmm.Yum either way.

    I don’t have jasmine rice and is not available here so can I use non glutinous long grain rice such basmati rice for this recipe????

      That's a great question. I have never tried it with basmati rice, but I think it could probably work. If you do try it, let me know how it turns out.
