I remember that time RVD hit the Five Star frog splash and basically took himself out of the Royal Rumble. He was immediately eliminated while selling the impact of it.
Time period doesnt matter bunny. Kayfabe was huge in the 80s n 90s. So if they didnt make it look good it would be called fake. Time has no bearing on a sell
Dolph Ziggler’s overselling it TOP TEIR especially when he took the Rough Ryder or the Brouge Kick. He makes it seem like they just killed him, That just shows how good he is
Bunny you should definitly react to a compilation of Dolph Ziggler/Nick Nemeth sellings one in particular where he does a full front flip off Kofi Kingstons monkey flip is hillarious
Triple H's favourite wrestler was Ric Flair and that was why he did the delayed flop. Those types of ridiculous oversells are only meant to be funny for the wrestlers and the fans, but when you look at Dolph Ziggler and Shawn Michaels (My top 2 oversellers) for example. Most of there sells are over the top, but it's in more of a way to make their opponents look better and the moves more devastating. (With the exception of Shawn against Hogan, that was deliberately ridiculous because Hogan refused to let Shawn win which was the original plan).
There was one of The Rock overselling the stunner where Stone Cold actually looks like he's smiling at The Rock and has a difficult time staying IN character. They show it very quickly before they move on to Ric Flair. It's really quick; but try to slow it down and look closely at stone Cold after he give Rock the Stunner. He's smiling and trying not to laugh.
That one when he jumps off the ropes and randy gets his foot up in time was Triple H's BEST EVER oversell. he stood there "stunned" for over two minutes and then shook his head started to walk and flopped ton the ground. lol The Best ever.
It's easy to forget - because of the great physical shape of the wrestlers - but many of the referees are also in really great shape as well; and they too sometimes like to oversell stuff. lol Hats off to them. They truly do belong in the ring as well.
I know two bad oversellers. Ryback and Booker T. With Book, it was the stunner elimination spot where Steve Austin stunned Book in the Royal Rumble with the stunner after the man did a spinaroonie. Like, seriously? A stunner managed to throw a man as jacked as you over the top rope? And with Ryback, I don't remember who (it's most likely Cena, tho) hit him in the head, but the man got out of the ring going to backstage, rolling around, screaming, and touching his head like a lunatic. Both moments were funny, but I think they're over the top.
We 100% can include matches from the 80s, because the selling was far better back then. Wrestlers actually stayed down after getting hit and knew how to draw sympathy from the crowd with the pain they appeared to be in. Say what you want about Hulk Hogan's wrestling ability, but he was a much better seller than 90% of the modern roster. I would recommend actually watching some 80s wrestling before dismissing it.
I definitely wouldn't say they are Not in pain... Guarantee every match hurts.. many people don't make it thru the first week or so of training, usually just learning literally the most basic move, the back bump causes a lot of people to be shocked how much it hurts, and many quit.. trainers have said that is why they do that on day one, get rid of the "weak" ... Also even bouncing off those ropes hurts, sometimes they even leave a mark, there is metal in them not actual 'ropes' like we use.
Multiple sources did say the ropes were loose for some reason, they even caught the ref warning I think it was AJ styles about it... As for that kick out that was a screw up on someone, probably at least partially priest, but he doesn't have a history of botches that I've ever heard of. 17:45
2:36 Bunny, it's *LITERALLY* the other way around. 😅 Sure, gimmicks were wacky back in the '80s, in wrestling like... in everything else. But things got *MORE* unrealistic after HHH and his buddies killed Kayfabe, back in 1996, *NOT LESS.* In the early '90s and in the '80s... sure, a lot of people could tell (and at least they had a reason to feel smug, unlike those who brag about knowing today 🤦🏼♂️)... but officially the matches were real competitions. The further back you go, the more you see crowds less interested in seeing spectacular moves and more about finding out (and something betting on) who wins. There are videos from the '70s with a wrestler pulling out brass knuckles from his trunks while the ref wasn't looking, William Regal style, and the crowd going completely ballistic and mad with indignation when he actually won that way. 😅
theres nothing to do with eras lol like what? oversell is a oversell every has oversellers shawn michaels does the ric flair whip in turnbuckle lol ant it was till he retire also priest was in pain it was a BOTCH thats why he is in pain lmao
I love oversells when it's done correctly and it can be funny or it can be annoying and to unrealistic but it doesn't stop me from loving WWE❤great video BunBun
The Rock is the greatest seller of a move hands down.. Don't believe it then watch one of the most famous moves stunner who made famous was THE ROCK the way he overselled it that everyone wanted him to get stunned.. Not just that he was the best actor in wrestling it looked legit that he was hurt that's how good THE ROCK was🔥🔥🔥🔥
Shawn Michael's over selling Hulk Hogan lol, you could see Hulk Hogan getting pissed off literally as the match went on lol, politics have consequences lol
Hey Bunny, do you believe in Joe Hendry 👏👏? I'd like you to react to Joe Hendry, he's very entertaining. He's also made several songs to make fun of his opponents
Special recognition to RVD. He oversold damage from his own moves to the point where the frog splash hurt him more than his opponent
😅
I remember that time RVD hit the Five Star frog splash and basically took himself out of the Royal Rumble. He was immediately eliminated while selling the impact of it.
It doesn’t matter what the time period is overselling means the same thing regardless
Time period doesnt matter bunny. Kayfabe was huge in the 80s n 90s. So if they didnt make it look good it would be called fake. Time has no bearing on a sell
Dolph ziggler was one of the best sellers around in wwe
Dolph Ziggler’s overselling it TOP TEIR especially when he took the Rough Ryder or the Brouge Kick. He makes it seem like they just killed him, That just shows how good he is
TIER
Brogue
He's doing much better in TNA Impact. Also Nic Neimath sounds much better.
Imo, his isn't overselling, instead it is the perfect amount of selling. He genuinely makes the move look good without also defying logic or physics
The Rock selling the stunner never gets old 😂
Awesome video bunny 👍
Bunny you should definitly react to a compilation of Dolph Ziggler/Nick Nemeth sellings one in particular where he does a full front flip off Kofi Kingstons monkey flip is hillarious
I laughed at Rick Rudes selling also turning into a chop block.

Damien was in pain for real...He wasn't selling.
exactly i dont think she understands the art of overselling and what it means
Such a crybaby
The Rock and the Stone Cold Stunner. Nuff said.
Oversellings are so great if it feats the wrestler and make sense in the match ufff so great and awesome
It's easy to forget - because of the great physical shape of the wrestlers - but many of the referees are also in really great shape as well; and they too sometimes like to oversell stuff. lol Hats off to them. They truly do belong in the ring as well.

3:20 hahaha Jerry flopping like a fish. 😅😅
most of the wrestling terms use today came from the older generation. so, they count no matter what generation.

Dolph Ziggler, and Jeff Hardy.

It is an actual crime to not include Dolph Ziggler in a video like that
Yeah, It's kind of like when yo kill someone in Fortnite then take three whole minutes dancing and showing off. Oversell lol.
Overselling, as you first assumed. Isn't always bad. Sometimes it helps the match, tell a story.
That's awesome so when are we going to get an OF announcement?
Triples H's oversell in his last clip was for a minute or 2.
Ah yes, the ropes were definitly at fault. After all Priest is know for not botching anything, ever. I bet we couldn't even botch a kick out. lol
Expect kicking out, at the right time. Both the refs fault and his, apparently. Oh well.
@@thenxn619 I’ll go further. It’s Seth Rollins fault for hitting the Falcon arrow too hard!
Multiple sources did say the ropes were loose for some reason, they even caught the ref warning I think it was AJ styles about it... As for that kick out that was a screw up on someone, probably at least partially priest, but he doesn't have a history of botches that I've ever heard of. 17:45
Put some respect on dolph Ziggler name bro he is up there with HBK on overselling 😅

John Cena used to do a funny oversell of getting his head bashed on the steel steps in his earlier years. I loved it and would look forward to it lol.
Welcome back Rhea Ripley ❤️😈
When I started in wrestling, we called them "stooge bumps" because it was like something you'd see in a three stooges fight scene.
Why would it be a work to break your own leg? That kind of thing is too risky. The Damian Priest situation is a botch logically
Overselling isn't date specified. Similar to Ric Flair's selling of moves. It's still as over now. Fans love it. Zayn does this sometimes still.
Can you react to "Wrestlers Who Peaked Early" by Wrestling With Wregret?
Over selling made match great the performers who do oversells know how to sell good lol
Ricochet, Dolph Ziggler, Aj Styles
theres nothing to do with eras lol like what? oversell is a oversell every has oversellers shawn michaels does the ric flair whip in turnbuckle lol ant it was till he retire also priest was in pain it was a BOTCH thats why he is in pain lmao
The rock oversell stone cold stunner perfectly they should add in 2k24
The Rock and the Stone Cold Stunner was the greatest seller in WWE history.
This was a good list
Dolph is one of my favorite oversellers
I don't mind overselling, really, because if we're honest pro wrestling has an inherent goofiness to it and overselling is just part of it
BS list. How is RVD, Kurt Angle, Richochet, Randy Orton and Dolph Ziggler not on this.
Wich List would you Reccomend?
I think that's because those are considered good sellers, not over sellers.
@@Bunnymontop 10 best sellers, again by wrestling flashback.

It wasnt a proper ric flair cage match if he didn't "moon" the audience 😂
🐇🐇🐇🐇🐰 Can you react to "30 greatest WrestleMania entrances"? 😢
Terry Funk was badly missed on this list.
The Rock is the greatest seller of a move hands down..

Dolph was just better at selling, but Rock did sell the stunner the best
Mami back 😊 but naw for real on the cool ricochet the king of sells 🔥
Shawn Michael's over selling Hulk Hogan lol, you could see Hulk Hogan getting pissed off literally as the match went on lol, politics have consequences lol
