I got in big trouble at a baseball game when I forgot my box cutter was in my pocket. It's a tiny one so it's really to forget it's there. Security took me to a back room but I didn't stay there long because the head of security understood, apparently it's common for that to happen. So yeah, American security is also pretty strict on what you can have on you at events, probably became the standard after 9/11.
one time they put me in a back room at the airport cuz my boots had heels that were filled with some weird material, they eventually let me go with a warning BUT how would I know what is my shoe made of xD also that was really scary cuz I am half Arab and you know how that is perceived in airports

There was a couple times when people were scripted to jump the barricade and they were stopped by security.. one was some fron ecw around 1997, and more recently i think it was rob gronkoski..
Yeah, unfortunately some fans get too out of control for their own good, no matter the promotion. Heck, I remember a few years back there was an incident in AEW where a fan tried to rush into the ring during a promo segment between Chris Jericho and MJF (Chris punched the guy before security dragged him away). Even more recently (as in just last month), the wrestler Skye Blue was being verbally harassed by some asshole in the audience during a Ring of Honor taping. It got so bad that both the referee AND Blue's opponent teamed up to kick out the guy (who apparently even had a child with him) after the match. Goodness, you never know what crazy types can manage to slip into these events..... 😞
Yeah it's a rule, you jump that barricade, you're fair game for everyone on the other side lol. It's a show, it's an act, if someone wants to act crazy there's no shame in EVERYONE breaking kayfabe to pummel them lol.
A couple of years ago a fan literally tackled Seth Rollins and it was a dangerous situation as described by Seth. You should check that out.
Banning people is so hard to enforce, i know i jave banned multiple people from different places... The stote i worked would not even have a picture of the person, just a name and basic info, plus the only people that saw who was banned was the person signing the ban and the manager might read the paper before sending it to corporate offices (and the police)

A friend of mine went to a WCW live event. Sting came down and joined the nWo and hit the nWo opponent with a bat. When Sting left the ring and backed up to the barrier, my friend punched Sting in the back of the head. He sat back down in his seat like nothing happened. Sting looked around to see who hit him. They never found out my friend was the one who punched him.
During the ThunderDome Pandemic Era a fan had a picture of Chris Benoit and showed it during an episode of SmackDown. He got banned forever as well

@@WrestlingGod-f4v Of course he did it. Nobody else was around and he left signs that he did it. Kevin Sullivan, who is the popular conspiracy theory, wasn't even in Georgia when it happened. As messed up as it is, Benoit doing that has allowed us to gain knowledge on CTE and other brain injuries that we didn't know about which protects other people in the future.

Yeah, they probably have pictures of them. Take him to Gorilla (means just backstage never the entrance ramp), take a mugshot like pictures, ask if charges should be pressed and them kick them out. But yeah wow Joe (Roman Reigns) is REALLY forgiving lol. I would pressed charges, dude's 34 years old tossing $hit as pro-wrestlers? The fxck? Tribal Chief Roman Reigns does make me feel a little bad about not liking Roman's pushing in the past, but it wasn't him we were really booing, it was Vince. Like Lesnar's middle finger to the hard camera at Wrestlemania 20 camera was for Vince and not the fans but there is no other way to express it to him in that moment. Same with booing Roman. Vince wasn't out there for us to boo is decisions of what they were doing with Joe's character. NOW when he comes back he will have a worthy and perfect and DESERVED babyface run fans can get behind.

The Batista one at the start is almost certainly fake. The WWE went through this period where they wanted to have this "anything can happen on live tv!" thing, so a lot of things like this were staged, with fake backstage fan invasions or accidents like things breaking, of cast or crew members showing up on camera "by accident". The comedic timing is just too perfect, and most of those backstage segments are taped rather than shot live.
The rest, however, are likely genuine.
I like how Randy sells the low blow at first because he thinks it was his opponent. But then he sees it's just a guy and he instantly gets up.
There's a funny story Kevin Owens told where he was working a show and started bickering with the audience. And one guy in the audience was trying to start a fight with him, so he did that heel thing where they sit on the ropes and pretend to be inviting the audience member in to fight them. The only thing is....the guy actually accepted. So KO turns back to the match only to see out of the corner of his eye this fan climbing into the ring. So KO immediately just knocks the PISS out of the guy, because he's not taking any chances.
But the guy then waited in the parking lot with his friends after the show. And KO was worried about being jumped by three or four guys. So he said it another wrestler called Franky the Mobster, who looks like a massive ball of testosterone, muscle and steroids. So Franky goes out to meet these guys and says:
"What can I do for your fellas?"
And they replied: "We're waiting for Owens."
And then Franky the Mobster - who again, looks like the Incredible Hulk, gave the most action movie worthy one liner possible:
"No you're not. You're waiting for me."
After a moment of awkward silence, the three guys left. Apparantly, they did not want to fight 225lbs of muscle and rage.
The way Windhum Rotunda (Bray Wyatt) handles that fan getting behind Dean and Roman was great. Still in character as Bray Wyatt as they're dragging the fan away points laughing going: "Is that your guy!? AHAHAHAHA!" Brilliant way to defuse it lol.

Jake Roberts got stabbed by an old woman because her grandson had her convinced that Jake was actually an evil man. She sliced him with a box cutter and he didn't even feel it because they're that sharp. He asked security why they were manhandling an old woman and they told him that she cut him so he looked down and saw the gash and started kicking her while she was on the ground 😂
There was also an instance where two wrestlers (Sting and Jake Roberts? I can't remember) got shot at during a show and had to take cover under the ring.

During Royal Rumbles, there are at least 4 referees who hang out around the ring to watch for wrestlers' feet touching the floor.
(Either someone doesn't referees enough credit to know who their coworkers are or someone doesn't pay enough attention during a Royal Rumble).

The hilarious thing about the Money in the Bank briefcase incident is this was peak when people hated Roman getting pushed and he was WWE Champion at the time. The crowd was literally telling the guy to cash in his briefcase on him lol.
