Returning to this as I literally put all my decks together like 3 days ago, so time to rebalance based on the new color changes, also wow, I thought I had a good Esper aggro build until I noticed I had fallen short on LifeBursts. Trying to go by the 16-8-12 guideline for SIGNI as well. Funny enough I took a couple tries at Tamago discard and might be a control player now, don't tell Tama...

Haha. Yeah there's a lot of factors to balance. Bursts is part of their game design as mill, damage, enercharge all happens to be on non burst cards usually

I have been looking out for removal bursts that hit the breakpoints you guys reference on occasion (it seems to shift w/ the meta ofc) also I am really into the lifebursts that give some type of brainstorm effects too!

I wish the official card list had the level of syntax support that Cockatrice does. Even something basic like 'only signi without life burst' is not supported.

Literally that's the one in most commonly like "jesus, I wish there was a button for this."
Hellfyre seems to be slowly working on that for dexoss. He said his goal is to make it something like scryfall and edhrec

@@LifeBurstPodcast Yea I'm still learning, I just started around Vertex Diva/EX's release. Is there a discord you can recommend with players willing to do some practice matches?

Card game discord server seems the best. It's a little intimidating but you should find some people who are happy to play

I've thought about making a Mahomaho centered dedicated mill deck since she puts so much pressure on your opponent's deck. There's a good number of mill support SIGNI that help make this happen (Phalaris, Dragon Maid, Black Tama), and you obviously get the option to run Miasma Labyrinth to further that along. I agree that the goal with her is to basically have your opponent allow you to freely recur guards every turn, so putting that extra refresh pressure on them will hopefully persuade them to let you do that. The hard part is having enough staying power to last 6+ turns to be in a situation where you can potentially cause multiple refreshes for the extra damage, and get all that added value from the (hopefully) 6+ Guards you potentially have access to.
My gut tells me to run Lion Disrespect and Madoka Clap to just take 2 entire turns off, but obviously those are resource intensive and may not work together the way I need them to.

I've never had luck with 2 three stops unless the meta was super aggro. If I wanted to get really long game damage negation I might lean more Mel since she has damage negation which stops these slower grinder Tama lists
