I want to downgrade my new w11 workstation so bad. I swear I've tried for 2-3 months to adapt to w11 and I just can't find a justification for any of the UI/UX changes they've made. I've spent hours and hours just trying to configure it to support old power user tricks, including most recently a registry edit just to get the old right-click context menu back (why???).
So I followed your instructions for the downgrade - and halfway through I stumbled on the fact that w10 loses support in just 2 more years and decided to stop. Got to live with it I guess. I was almost looking forward to no longer being the family tech support guy by willful ignorance of how all their shiny new w11 devices work.

Option to use the power button to just turn off the display for unattended work is missing!
windows heavily relies on telemetry for improvement so with most power users turning it of for performance or dislike of the intrusive nature of it. the users that are left with it on are casual computer users.
Hi, this method has worked for my laptop. The issue is that the Win 10 is very slow. I think this is because my C and D drives got swapped after the downgrade. All my data from D drive on Win 11 is now in the C drive and the important C drive stuff for maintaining system integrity is now in the D drive. I hope some one can help me with this one.

It’s been a very stressful day, I have been able to set things back up however for some reason windows is now installed on my HDD instead of my SSD & my SSD is 500gb but my pc is saying there’s only 250gb available. As well as this my pc is very slow on load up now I’m not sure if that’s due to windows being on the HDD

@@ipMalik sorry I somehow fixed it. It happened after all of the windows setup happened, and all I had to do was go into BIOS, change the boot drive to the one I desire,then just take programs and programsx86 and copy it back tho the main folder from windows.old. Sorry for wasting your time
