It's because Teemo doesn't kill Yordles - the "kills" he does are only a game IMO, same thing he did with Lhkh. He only ones he kills are those who threaten/try to destroy Bandle City as it's a part of his duty to protect Bandle City as a Bandle Scout. Except for Omega Squad Teemo - at that point in his timeline everyone is fair game. Although IIRC there aren't any other Yordles left alive at that point in time.
also the way he acts now is because… uhh.. he is kinda old, senile in fact. you could say Dementia Teemo is real now and he can hurt you, accidentally at least.

I get rhe update is supposed to have a fun and cheerful personality, but all the vibrancy in it compared to others just makes me think "childish and new kid on the block." It'll take awhile to get use to
I think they should have given him some darker voice lines. I haven't read the new backstory yet, but I remember that in his old one, tristana described him as nice and cheerful, but also that he would turn into a stone cold killer at a moment's notice if necessary

I feel like we lost something with this update and you can tell by these comments calling him genuinely cute/adorable. I feel like they made it way too much of his new identity. I do kinda wish they'd add in a badge system passive for Teemo. Like it wouldn't do much, sorta like the quests for other champs. Like how Jhin gets 4.444, and Hwei gets 3.33 of certain stats. It could have like the 'defeat a void monster badge', and Teemo would get like an extra 10 gold.

LoR is still alive, it's just the focus is now the PvE mode, Path of Champions. You can still find a match within a minute even in PvP.

I feel like we lost something with this update and you can tell by these comments calling him genuinely cute/adorable. I feel like they made it way too much of his new identity.
