    As an older woman, (myself I'm talking about) I truly appreciate and think that it's important that you speak freely about perspiration products, your period, your personal journey with womens issues. When I had my period, I had endometriosis and that was not talked about. Doctors thought a woman was crazy when she tried to explain what was going on with her body and the excruciating pain that was experienced. Fertility issues. All of that, that you are speaking of helps women. You are doing a service for women and should be very proud. Thanks Tati!

    • @cloud__99
      @cloud__99 9 месяцев назад +18

      Totally agree. When I went to my family doctor he got all uncomfortable and didn’t take me seriously when I talked about my pain. He dismissed it as normal period pain and I had to argue my way to a referral to a specialist. I was shocked that even some doctors still get squeamish about “women’s issues”. Raising awareness truly helps and it’s also just comforting to be reminded that we’re not alone in our struggles.

      Hey there is some news out about endodermis very recently! There has been study done already about it just yesterday i heard. Theres already a cure to it, but they just recently realized that like 90% of woman that have it also have this type illness also. So the doctors are thinking that it may be causing it. Sorry i just cant remember the exact terminology for that specific illness. But google it and it should come up!

      @cloud__99 I'm 59 now and THANK GOD for menopause! I only had 1 good week every month.I was miserable the week before, the week during and the week after my period. It helped destroy 2 marriages! No one understands the agony and pain of endometriosis until they have experienced it.

      As a student dentist, you need a fluoridated toothpaste (or at minimum at HAP toothpaste) to prevent tooth decay- just brushing twice daily is not shown in studies to prevent tooth decay. Will it prevent gingivitis? Yes. But it’s the enamel strengthening properties of fluoride in toothpaste that helps prevent decay

    Hey Tati! Thank u for being so candid. Love these kinds of videos! I found a weird beauty thing about a month or 6 weeks ago. I’m 36 & have hormonal acne so bad. It was painful and kept coming in at the same place. Lasted for weeks until I finally had to lance it myself. It was awful. Anyway I found on the tikytoky that you can use diaper rash cream with zinc oxide as the last step in ur routine to kill the bacteria that causes acne. Yes baby bum cream. I went back to basics: Kate Somerville sulpur wash, murad retinol & bum cream and in less then two weeks, my skin was clear and healed. I still have the odd pimple but they’re super small and go away pretty fast. I highly recommend this to anyone struggling with acne, I may look like a geisha before bed but darn gosh golly I do not care! Luv u Tati 🩷☺️🙏

A few years later she passed away from cervical cancer and I am sure the douching contributed to it. Talk about all these feminine issues whenever you can as the practices that we use, often handed down and never questioned, can end up being detrimental. Loved your advice re tampons and pads. I love Carpe! I spent about ten years trying to find something that would keep my pits dry. Aluminum chloride products left my pits with an itchy rash...until I discovered Carpe! My pits now stay dry and I no longer worry about the embarrassing sweat stains! I'll have to try the scalp spray.

    As someone who is always working out, I love SAALT for female products. They're amazing. I know a lot of people are weird about the idea of using a menstrual cup, but I will NEVER go back to using anything else. It's the best thing I've ever used. It saves on tampon waste for the environment, is comfortable, and I never have to worry about bleeding through a tampon. Game changer. SAALT helps give other women and girls feminine products, too. Highly recommend! :)

    I’m not a social media person. I have always felt I’m too busy to sit still watch any videos. I have 4 kids and they keep me informed enough ;). I am 51, and healing from breast cancer and the struggle is real…not just physically, but mentally it’s has been a battle. I had a double mastectomy with reconstruction last July. Since I’ve had some time to ‘be still’….I decided to jump into RUclips shorts. I found you, saw a clip then watched a few videos. You are so cute and real, you have been blessed, because you are blessing others! I just wanted to commend you for your hard work (and I figure there’s wayyyyy more behind the scenes time you put in). You are doing a great job! You have my new attention! ❤ ❤❤

    Loved this video. I use a lot of those products and it makes a world of difference it just rejuvenates the whole body. I use a lot of the aha and bha products in bath products and lotions. I think it really helps the anti aging process by sluffing off the dead skin. It just makes your skin not look as dull and your skin just looks brighter. I think I am obsessed with that part of skincare. I think your skin just looks younger without those dead skin cells hanging around and if you have fine lines I think using acids prevents those areas from looking like deep wrinkles.

    Great recommendations! Re gentle towels for drying hair, I remember reading in Cosmo or something in the early 90s about how we should dry our hair as if we were drying a delicate fiber - bc that's what hair is. Going to try that towel. Thanks! 😍

    I am allergic to toothpaste so when Tati and James mentioned the ORL toothpaste and mouthwash a while back, I bought it, tried it, I'm not allergic to it and I'm SOOOOOO HAPPY to finally find a good toothpaste that I can use again since they pulled Mentadent off the market. Thank you Tati and James!!!! 100% recommend to everyone 💜💜

    I love this video. I use Lumify every morning. I’m 53 and all of a sudden no matter how much sleep I will have little red eyes. I do have allergies and wear contacts and this is an absolute lifesaver. I look way more refreshed and I swear younger. Costco sells it in a two pack for a great price. Better than Amazon.

    James did a favorites video years ago and mentioned Lumify. I’ve used it almost daily ever since. I had a mystery eye reactivity issue that went on for years, and Lumify was the only thing that worked aside from a prescribed steroid drop. I have been low key 😊worried about using it daily, so hearing it’s supposedly fine makes me feel better haha highly recommend

    Lume is fabulous! I don't use the cream version but the stick deodorant is wonderful. Unscented for the nether regions and any of the other fragrances for the pits. They also have a male version called Mando - their Bourbon Leather fragrance is heavenly!! And yes, the soaps offered by both companies work well all over your body!!

    I’ve used Lume for a year now and it’s a bit of a learning curve. It doesn’t work like regular deodorant. You have to put it on clean skin so if you’ve already sweated and you use it it doesn’t do much. Fresh out of the shower put it on clean skin and it really helps to prevent odor from happening
