#rc #airplane #marlin
It's a good lookin, peppy little effer!
4s is right up my alley, too.
I'll check with the boss-lady 😊
Happy Thanksgiving to the whole dam Phillips Pham 👍
Thanks Al! We appreciate you being here, and yeah, this is a fun EDF. She does great on 4S, and still gives full control, but no retracts might be an issue for some.
Revist 😂
I had a marlin and sold it.. jets are crazy and fun but I like fixed wing more 👍
I only fly NX8, what is involved in adding reverse thrust to these4 EDF jets? I have channels but imagine it must be something more to reverse the fan...?
If you want it, you could add an AVIAN ESC to do it, and it's fairly easy, but it's not a cheap ESC...so might be a bit of a mismatch, in my opinion, since this plane CAN slow down okay for landings. If you're on a super tight runway, maybe it would be helpful.
bprc.me/AvianLite_45A_ESC - This one SHOULD work, if you were to swap out with our AR630 ( bprc.me/AR630 ) setup, as covered in our unbox, build, radio setup...but then you'll have to SCROLL OVER TO THE RIGHT and setup Thrust Reverse like we've done on a number of other videos.
Hope this helps you get moving in the right direction!
Very cool… no stress 😎.. HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO YOU AND THE FAMILY… 🇺🇸😎
OK I'll stop only 2200 120 c for me they ask ask is that 6s?
LOL - 4S 50C ;)
Look so nice. How about this one and futura?? Which one is better?? Im going to buy both bigginer plane and jet plane.
Brian, how would you compair ease of flight on this compared to the 50mm BAE 4channel? What is the average flight time on the 3200?
Thanks and happy Thanksgiving!
Use 2200 m amp 4S and works wonderfully
Lord, remembering the first foamies…quite a change! I shot an arrow in the air, and then it flew I know not where (from some cartoon when I was a kid- I think a duck or rabbit was involved) Anyway, that pass around 4:30 PROVES that Megan is as crazy as Denise. Get her a helmet!
LOL - yes
I have one and boy howdy what a airplane
Sure is fun!
No its all that and a box of chocolates
LOL - very nice!
He's right low C will go too....
I was flying on 50C I believe ;)
Not that I don't love watchin ya as it is BUT I am totally looking for to seeing water takeoffs and landings ...and some boats n such 👍👍 hellllll yeah.... Now you'll just need a rock pile/structure of sorts for the crawlers 😉 nice n lumpy n steep.
Thanks for all you do and the hours and I mean HOURS of entertainment and information!
Thanks, and coming soon! We have some rocks so far, just need to make a COOL way to employ them
Hey Brian, I hope you get to review the 64mm FMS Futura. Wonder if you could do a comparison of 64mm edf jets, that would be cool. Love your video's.
We have! You can check it out here...

I have a chunk of foam that was ripped off one of my flaps, how would you reccomend fixing it. I don't really wanna buy a replacement wing if I don't have to, or would it even impact flight to much with it missing?
I would use CHINA GLUE - Here's some choices for supplies... www.brianphillipsrc.com/supplies ...then if you're getting an FSM plane, get some FMS China Glue, or if you're buying a Horizon Hobby product, then get some Foam-To-Foam - same stuff, or really similar, and both are about the same price, since the Foam-to-Foam is a bigger bottle.
Good luck! That stuff is EASY to use and works! Don't forget to reinforce your connection with some tooth picks or bamboo skewers, if it's a BIG chunk.
I'm your biggest fan!!! YOU and Camera crue are AWESOME!!!!
Thanks Ray! We see you ;)
Marlin 64 was my first jet. You need to flare and release on landing - if you don't time the release correctly she will start to bounce and break her nose.
After the Marlin I move on to the Motion rc Rebel 2. - good value on both of those planes.
The Habu is also good.
yes ;)
They have no clue!!!!!
You mean RUclips ;)
One of the best entry level EDFs. Particularly for practicing landings, as you show so well. Mine is 3 years old now, and has many dozens of flights.
...and for a good price too!
He is not kidding...
definitely not ;')
Beautiful looking jet. It sounds great. Thanks for sharing Brian. 👍👍👍
You bet - Thank you!
Love you Brian
thanks ;)
Is safe a spektrum thing?
I bought a fms futura last week they look so much alike, how do you compare the two?
Super similar ;)
I've been watching you a long time and yes I like the way you fly...
Thanks!
Hey I'm #1 Again! 😜😜🤣🤣😁😎
Ha! Brilliant. You seem to be revisiting all the planes I've bought recently (based on your video suggestions.) This was my trainer edf. Love it
We always listen to our audience, but this may have been a bit of a coincidence...but I'd otherwise loved to take all the credit - LOL ;)
@@BrianPhillipsRC no but you can take credit for guiding me through this hobby lol. Since i came across your channel last year, i started the with Maule, bought a P51 1.2, a Marlin and a Bae Hawk. I`ve now started with Helis. Your set-up videos and entertaining flight videos have been invaluable in making a daunting hobby accesible to the masses.
YEAH!!!!
;)
I’m just getting into rc planes and purchased a FMS Bluejay so these videos are a help with understanding flying. My question is, you refer to a number every once in awhile describing the plane and if it’s below , I think 250, then you’re safe. What is the number your referring to and is it safe from registration or what? Keep up the good content and have a Happy Thanksgiving
LOL
yes, thanks!
Great stuff! Thank you! Is there a video where you talk about what happened to the power lines in front of your house. Obviously they are gone, but just curious how that came about.
Would this be better alternative to Eflite Habu STS or maybe better price?
Marlin is 64mm fan and much cheaper than the 70mm Habu
you could get the 50mm Habu but it also is more expensive than the Marlin
I would say, the Habu is going to be EASIER to fly, and I'd say the 50mm is going to give most of the advantages you get here, but to all their own ;)
BNF is always gonna be more expensive, but I like the simplicity....some might disagree. I DO very much like FLAPS ;)

I have a spare AR631. Can that fit in this edf?
Absolutely!
Thank you, Thank you...
I love this jet. I have had one for a couple of years now and it goes with me to the field every time I go. Simple, fun, easy to fly.
NIIIIICE 👌🏻
This is a fantastic plane thanks BPH
you're welcome!
This plane rocks...
sure does!
