Joe Lange

Joe Lange was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on October 9th, 1947. After graduating high school, Lange married and briefly attended college before getting a full-time job and receiving his draft notice. After receiving his draft noticed, Lange went through basic training at Fort Knox, Kentucky and advanced training at Fort Belvoir, Virginia to be a generator mechanic. Once he completed the training at Fort Belvoir, Lange returned home before deploying to Vietnam to serve for a year in the 124th Signal Battalion of the 4th Infantry Division. He was based in the Central Highlands, and provides a wide range of stories about his experiences both on and off the base.

I have seen almost every Vietnam Veteran interview here. These great men deserve our respect and please know that we’re proud of you. Mr Smither: You are doing God’s work recognizing and documenting their service. Honestly surprising that you’ve undertaken this topic, given the horrid state of today’s woke culture in academia.
