You are a thousand percent correct. As a seasoned 13 yr CPC, almost CRC TOO, there is nothing more frustrating than an auditor who can’t explain their reasoning or who won’t share their knowledge or give feed back. Coding is not black and white, none of us are right all the time! Auditors need to be personable and positive, and know how to talk to people. At the same time, we as coders have to accept our field is ever changing, look at audits as a learning experience not a put down experience lol

In the beginning you mentioned big boy places to go for resources like the guidelines of course… what are other places to go besides what you mentioned. If you don’t mind!

7:55 on the video. Are there other places for references? I’m not an auditor yet but I want to be one in maybe 2-3 years cause I know I’m not all around knowledgeable. But I want to be eventually and have good reference and not be one of those “because I said so” type of auditors. I want to have multiple references for knowledge to back up the facts besides the guidelines. If that makes sense.
