WHAT IS A CERTIFIED MEDICAL CODER?

Hi Bleu. Some job openings combine medical coding with medical billing . These are 2 different functions right ? So why combine ? Should medical coders also do work on accounts receivables? See this on a lot of job postings for medical coders.
