That's a great base car for an amateur to start off with. You've done enough to see the potential of it and are willing to pass it on to someone who's just starting out in their classic car journey. You do good work, Sheldon. As always, keep up the good work!
You make me crazy...and here is why. You remind me so much of myself and my car dealings. I am almost 70 years old and have spent the last 55 years buying cars, working on them and selling them almost always losing money because as you said once you get them roadworthy you have probably spent more than they are worth. Don't make my mistakes. Settle on one car for a while like this one which would be a great daily driver. At least enjoy it for a while. I can tell you that the number of interesting cars that are restorable is finite. Enjoy these while you can. Here I am at my advanced age restoring a 62 Lincoln convertible. It will probably take the rest of my life to finish. Instead, I should be driving one of the many that I have sold over the years. With that said, thanks for the videos. I enjoy seeing these odd cars. I was stationed in England for nearly four years and love your country.
You have made a nice job, although brown wouldn't be my choice, my friend had a red one which looked the business. This one would have had the spare wheel mounted on the boot lid as it has the Rover badge in the middle and the handle below the lock button
Thats going to be a great usable car for someone. Shame you've had to put all the cash in for someone else to benefit. But at least another one saved 👍

You've saved this car from an uncertain fate. Well done. Rover v8 manuals are the best!

Have you got your licence yet?
I'd paint it a bright colour seems to be one of the few cars that would greatly appreciate a respray.
