As you say, the Forecast section appears to be just a gimmick and not accurate since it doesn't connect to the internet. At best it makes a guess from the pressure with high pressure indicating good sunny weather and low pressure, bad weather ie cloudy/rain. Pressure and temp readings appear accurate on mine.
The new Apple home pod has a thermometer built in like this one. It would be perfect if all smart home assistance had one as well so we could know the true temperature in our homes.
i bought one of these Youshiko XL YC9445 i live in England and i can only get London settings and my city is Bradford does that meam the animation will work according to London weather 3:49
What I know is if your city is not available you have to use your closest city available. I hope they fix this because it's not really a good user experience for people who's city is not available.
@@AtHomewithLucas I JUST GOT HOME FROM WORK ITS LITTRALLY ABOUT TO RAIN BUT NIO SIGHN OF RAIN ON MY WEATHER STATION. and there plenty of rain predicted on line
Why would my ice icon be flashing in the outdoor temperature screen it's 37 degrees not exactly ice weather I've googled and looked in book and can't find anything on why that icon is flashing well above freezing the alerts icon is off.
@AtHomewithLucas the only city listed anywhere near me to me was Charlotte and I live over 3 hours from their in Asheville NC but I did set it for That my understanding is it's only for sunrise and sunset whice is a good 20 minutes difference from where i live.
So, as a daily user, I come to depend on two things inside temp/humidity and outside temp/humididty. Everything else I don't pay attention to lol oh also the clock.

Is there an application where you can monitor the data remotely through phone app?
No, this is not a smart device. It's running very simple tech. Basically, it's just a thermometer.
Hi, do you know how can i change ingh to hpa pressure?

Sorry, I don't believe you can change that.

From what I understand it's a general warning. My Chevrolet will do the same thing. Also did you find your city so the weather is accurate?
