It’s still too much stuff and time spent on applying makeup, I am looking for an easier way of just putting on less makeup, and a quicker way, now that I am over 70, 25 minutes is still too long to spend applying makeup every day, like your makeup look tho, just wish it didn’t take so long

Hello my name is Pearline,This is so exciting. I was not allowed to wear makeup in my teens. So I have not been a big makeup wearer. So now I feel like a teen. so much fun. Have learned so much and is fun shopping in the drug store. Love your ideas. I do have deep set eyes and hooded eyes. Does anyone go by their eye color for eye shadow. I have green eyes. should I stay away from green eye shadow?

I enjoy the knowledgeable comment,but everytime I see the end results all I can see is the to thick eyebrows. They make her look so much older! It's like she forgot the important part!
I’m telling you that women over 55 or 60 will look younger wearing lighter lipsticks . I’m almost 60 and threw out my darker colors . The pinks and nudes with a gloss are the best option.
And they will look younger without ugly gray hair!

I just wanted to let you know that you shouldn't buy Vitamin C serums if they come in a clear glass bottle. Vitamin C needs to be protected from the light in amber glass containers. Vitamin C isn't stable in clear glass, rendering it mostly useless. Sorry for the bad news. Great video as always! :)

@@NikolJohnson That layer of Meadowfoam seed oil would just protect it from the air. Vitamin C still needs to be protected from the light in non clear glass containers to be useful. I don't know of anything that the vitamin C can be mixed with that would protect it from light. As far as I am aware, a clear glass container still renders it mostly useless even with the AHAs. That's just what I know about vitamin C.

I’m 60 this year and I can tell you that I can’t wear lip liner anymore either. My lip line just isn’t the same. It doesn’t look like a smooth line. It’s completely disheartening. Someday you’ll know!!

Great video, Nikol. At 70 I miss my younger-self lips almost as much as I miss my defined jawline. This will certainly help. I watched the Martha Stewart tutorial too. Her old eyeliner comment made me cringe a bit. Did you see her favorite picture when she was made up to look like Veronica Lake? Amazing.

I'm not one much for makeup but I was wanting to do something about my disappearing lips. I do moisturize my lips most nights. After watching your video, I pulled out my one lip liner and my one shade of lipstick and followed your directions. Definite difference. Then I did a little gloss and that made even more of a difference. I'm 79.

Omgosh the very 1st video I've watched from her after my searching for fuller lips... over 18 minutes into it she finally gets to the lips and by the time she's at 23 minutes she's moved on. SO frustrating she spends the whole video advertising her many other products that have nothing to do with lips. Not the best 1st impression... jus'sayin.

I'm 70, and my top lip is the one that's thinning. Lip plumpers, if they work, won't stay only on the top lip, and I don't know what to do about that.
I also have the white line/area around my lips, and I don't know how to handle that. I'm assuming I line my lips inside that white line, but won't that make the white line more obvious?

Hello! I just found your channel today! I will be binge watching soon. My main issue at the moment is HOT FLASHES 😩 so when I have one I get the little sweat beads all over my face and my makeup or lotions or whatever seems to melt or look horrible. Help??
Is their anything I can hide deep marionette lines with. Few years ago I had Bella fill shots and he over filled my right cheek to lift it and marionette lines. I’m 83 and still care but this can’t be removed so what can I use in marionette lines look less obvious.

I don't understand this, but, normally, to me , gray hair ages most older women. On you, however, when I look at you, I think, this young lady got gray hair at a young age.
I never say I’m ‘old’… I say I’m older’. We do age…. But for me…. Old seems to be a dead end reached.
Older means , to me, there’s still a lot of living yet to do.

Thanks for the awesome video. The Le Roche Posay sunscreen fluid SPF 50 (the one you use in the video) does come in TINTED 😃 I use it as I have an olive completion and the non-tinted one leaves a white cast.

I have the same type of lips that you have. I do have the lines though across the top lip. I'm going to talk to my Dermatologist about what he'd recommend for me to do. Yes I did, I mentioned talking to your dermatologist or plastic surgeon about Rentin-A or other creams that will help soften the lines.

I disagree with the age thing. I think past an age where many people consider a woman to be too old to be a woman anymore (and that number has been shrinking at the speed of light lately), it is good for role models to mention their age, because people need to know that yes, you can be feminine, attractive, hot, and sexy, that age doesn't cancel any of that out. It is a way to claim room for older women, room that is really theirs which the media and misogyny have been pushing them out of. It is making a stand. It also helps scores of women who have been believing the media hype to realize that, contrarily to what they might believe, no, it is not too late.
I have never been preoccupied with my age, never have been tempted to try to look younger than my age, and never felt any kind of bad about saying how old I am. But I also never felt proud of my age, because my age isn't what makes me me, it's just a number. And now that I am middle-aged, I proudly wear my age as though it were my personal sense of style, while other women wear their plastic surgery and try to derive some kind of merit from it, all while feeling ashamed of daring to not be spring chickens, of daring to exist such as they are. We should be proud of looking the way we look at our age because it shows those among us who have an age complex that it is all in their head, it helps them to reclaim the self-esteem society has been trying to rob women of. Never have I been more proud to say my age than I am now that I am not so young anymore.
The kicker? Every time people ask me my age, they say I look so young for my age. And I get to have the glorious moment when I tell them "No, honey, I look exactly my age. This is what a woman looks like, independent of how old she is. We aren't numbers, we are people, beautiful people."
