I refuse to be a walking billboard for these designers that I already payed a fortune for. I don't understand why they create beautiful fashion and then ruin it by splattering their name all over it. The laced shoes are really cute without the designer name all over them. Just my pet peeve regarding fashion.

Collegiate Chic… oh I have to give a shout out to Option 1!!!!! I really loved the style in the reel you showed with the striped skirt and white shirt and the navy blazar. To me the skirts just sing chic to me more than the shorts or jeans. The skirt screams stylish Nikol out at an event as well. I could be wrong, but you asked. lol ❤

Go with jeans and jacket, the other look is nice but has the feel of the wearer being unapproachable.
For the Gala dinner, wear only 1 piece of the egret line. Wearing matching design pieces, takes away from the effect one piece has. As gorgeous as those pieces are, my vote is for the cuff because it will be more noticeable. And opt for the heavier looking earrings, catches the light, nice reflection around face.
But, Nikol, you’re the expert and whatever you decide will be perfect. Those patent leather wedge shoes are stunning.

Have you considered writing off a car lease since you own a business? You'd get to trade it in every three years. Because everyone told me that I was wasting my money by leasing, I bought a Jetta three years ago and already put in a lot of money. I should have stuck with leasing. I'm fine with a monthly payment so long as I have a car that works.

I would go a totally different way. Don't you just love my audacity with you the gorgeous
model and stylist? I think the
first ones are too preppy. I
think the Tiffany jacket is
gorgeous and rocks all day, but most college students don't wear letterman jackets, plus it is hot. The outfit you wore today to your mani/pedi is more collegiate to me. Maybe wear a black tank to pull in your sneakers or your black tee that says Paris or the screen print Paris shirt. (Tee shirts with words or screen prints are big, especially screen prints). The necklace you wore when you were trying on your other jeans, that was kind of chunky and I THINK you said Channel, would be super cute with that. A lot of the outfits you wore in THAT video could work. Trade out the jeans for the ones you wore today to look more laid back and add sneakers. So the idea is grungy with one more formal piece. Like your button down blue stripe with your white jeans and your jean jacket with sneakers or flats. These are my thoughts as someone with a graduate and undergraduate degree who lives across from a University. I hope that helps. Your style is impeccable. I think trying to sort out collegiate chic from preppy is the problem you are facing.
I LOVE the Pucci dress and the Jimmy Choos are like they are made for the dress. I'd wear the Egret earrings and the Carolina Herrara (CH) bracelet or the simplier one you were leaning towards. It seemed like from my view, the CH gold was more in line with the gold on your dress and your earrings. The clutch is perfect.
Whatever you decide will be great. I hope you have an amazing time. They will LOVE you! Oh, I'd do the simple makeup look with your collegiate outfit! You are going to stun them with your Pucci dress and Confidence lipstick!

I grew up on the Northeast, so I love preppy. Although it's different than collegiate, I love the beige short outfit.
You have been an inspiration for me when it comes to styling. It's a little more difficult for a curvy Italian-American gal, but at least I'm trying. Living in the PNW is different because it's sooooo casual here, but I dress for me. I still get the comments asking why I dress up for this or that, but hey, it makes me feel good. ❤

So, when I think "collegiate chic" it's s combination of RL style, but also the "varsity" look. I like the Tiffany jacket, which you could wear with jeans, skirts, even the shorts! I did something like a jean skirt, polo shirt, and one of my favorite RL sweaters for work. I think comfort and style are important. Especially when your on a work related trip.
