  • In this episode we make our way into an epic free camp in the spectacular Millstream Chichester National Park! This one is a Pilbara hidden gem! We had to drag the van across some serious tracks to get into one of the most beautiful free camps we have ever come across. Set at the foot of George Gorge in Millstream Chichester National Park we use this as a base to explore the majesty of the surrounding Pilbara.

I remember driving past the turn off and wondering if we should go exploring. Of course we should have, oh well we have a reason to go back now. What a beautiful part of Australia. Great video by the way. Have fun.

Hi ya, I really like your videos. So myself and my hubby are going to Karijini and we have booked the popular spots but would definitely like to stay at the spot that was the free millstream Chichester national park can you give us some directions to get to that location please as we also love our own company. 😃 Much appreciated. 👍🏻

Glad you enjoy the videos, this campsite was one of our favourite of all time! The place we stayed here is in wiki camps as "George River Remote Bush Camp" - that's the 'area' as there are a few different camps around the wiki marker. The area also changes from season to season due to flooding so it may not be the same as when we were there which was a few years ago now! I must warn you though, the track in was VERY tight and rocky, there was bits of caravan everywhere so probably a good idea to park the van at the lookout, unhitch and go in for a bit of a reconnaissance trip first as it might not be accessible to large setups. If you do manage to get into the site, it really is one of the best in Australia, so enjoy! 😀😀🍻👍
