      I’ve been listening to oilers radio broadcast on RUclips cause I refuse to pay for cable. But the announcers are such homers I’ve literally never heard it to that degree it’s like a livestream with some fanboys. But their resignation speaks volumes. Florida is the better team by far so far in this series and it hasn’t been close

    The refs were too scared of giving that to 2 Oilers in the same game and getting called out for bias I guess.

    Edmonton looks like an AHL team compared to Florida so they have to resort to playing like D bags, Draisaitl, Kane, Perry, other than Micdavid the Oil are a sub par team. Hyman who? Nugent who? These guys are all looking good when Micd is on his game but Florida is on to their game and shutting down 97. So far this is looking like a sweep to me.

      the refs have been helping them through the playoffs to this point. Maybe a little less overtly against dallas. that i think was less the refs and more Deboer not knowing how to hockey. but vs LA and Vancouver, the refs were doing everything in their power to push edmonton through as quickly as possible.

    where are you seeing this knee on knee contact? I have watched the hit over and over and still don't see it. Lou's leg is bent over behind him and Foegele's knee comes in around the front hip. Also, Foegele played the puck with his skate...you can see the direction of the puck change with his contact...so his leg/skate was angled to hit the puck and that's why it looks so awkward with Lou's body position.
    Sorry not seeing this brutal knee on knee...take a look at what Bennett did to Bouchard earlier...that was an actual knee on knee

    1:11... CLEAR as day. As someone that wanted Edmonton when this series began, I'm Florida all the way after game 2 and all the cheap BS. Draisatl should have gotten a 5 min as well. Florida deserves this Cup far more. Bobrovsky has Conn Smythe written in the stars. It's his for the taking. Crazy as hell Edmonton has only been able to score on Bob and this Florida D ONE time in 2 games 😂. Honestly the worse team won the WCF. Should be Stars vs. Florida. Would have been a MUCH better series.

    Pathetic Oilers: Draisaitl who lost ALL important face-offs and 2 min penalty, Bouchard who had terrible game with 2 critical give away and 4 mi penalties, mediocre Skinner ( SV = .88% ) and the rest of this pathetic Co. 🤪🤪Florida is clearly much better team.😇😇

    Odd, he stopped the puck with his skate and that is what he was trying to do. I had to rewatch it several times because it felt a bit odd.
    Was it intentional? No. Considering that he was the last one to touch the puck before the hit really makes me wonder if there should have even been a 5.

      @@tylerwoods9903 He was blocked the pass and did touch the puck. The leaned into the hit was because his skate blade was sideways while he was still moving forward and tripped. But of course, the blind people miss little details like this. They are worse than refs with their biases.
      BTW, I want the Panthers to win. Mostly because of a trade condition that would benefit my team.

    Saw this happen to Adam Fox in the first round… no 5 minute major… no game misconduct. Just a two minute penalty. Fox was never the same the rest of the playoffs.

    If you pause the video right at the point of contact you'll see the panthers player stepping out of the way of the check exposing his leg. This is pretty standard incidental contact in hockey. Foegles legs are together and he is in the midst of extending his upper body for a check. This is poor officiating.

      Legs are together? Did you watch the replay with your eyes closed? He LED with his knee, multiple feet (or dozens of cm for you) in front of his other foot, and he extended his LEG not his upper body. Your bias is palpable.

      @@joeonthego8247 Well, if you watch the footage, It was LikHerAnus, who deliberately placed his knee in an awkward position, at an angle where it was seemingly meant to hurt someone. And then he fakes his injury, by lying down like he died... Gets a 5 min, which if anyone reviewed it, would be hard pressed to find this intentional. Also if you see where LikeHerAnus, gets hit, was in his thigh, and well, that area does have good degree of protection. Considering that both players didn't have that much speed going in, as LikeHerAnus was going at a very slow speed(he was almost at rest, and trying to speed up), and Foegle, was also going at slow speed toward the puck. One decided to be a fuggen useless hoebag, and pretend his leg was blown off... to get the bs call. The other was a true sportsman, who got up and shook it off. Considering 2 things, one Foegel as more likely to be injured, and shrugged it off, while 2 LikHerAnus, plays the next shift like it was healed by the hockey gods... REALLY!

      He was playing the puck and the cats player couldn’t get out of the way, it was an awful accident nothing more. There were 2 other knee on knee hits, logic in the comments means that bennet should have also got a major

    When you include journeyman players such as Warren Foegele in a lineup for a Stanley Cup finals game, incidents like this can happen. Regardless of whether it was a dirty play on purpose or just a foolish mistake, it negatively impacts Edmonton's chances of securing a victory tonight. If McDavid doesn’t win the cup this year, it’s time for him to consider moving from Edmonton to a team that can truly leverage his incredible skills.

Also the hit on Barkov later in the game was a dirty hit as well as nikkola getting slashed in the crotch in the final minutes of the game. Panthers definetly push teams around a bit to get under their skin but the way the oilers played tonight is crossing the line. Out to hurt people.

    Fogele lined up Eetu's knee, I play a lot of hockey here in the south and you can see when someone goes out of their way like that to line someone up.     That should never have been a major penalty. Complete accident on both sides. Should be a no call they both ran into each other at the same time. Anyone saying this was intentional you don't know how fast that actually happened and how you would react running head first into someone. He moved his leg to try to avoid him and ended up making it worse. Zero intent for injury.

      Bennett's was intentional (we all know what he is like), but Bouch wasn't "hurt" on it...Foegele stuck his leg out and kicked the puck and then they collided...so to me not intentional, but it did happen...Bennett 2 mins, Foegele 5 mins and a game misconduct...seems about right?

    Holy Christ, old bob staffer mentioned the oilers should be learning to take some dives and embellishments if they want to even out the playing field after seeing this I agree…….that was more of a collision I say.       He'll be out game 3, and in rare cases game 4. the precident/standard set by the NHL for kneeing suspensions, you usually get 1-3 games unless it's some sort of retaliatory hit. I'd say i'd be thankful that Luostarinen appears to be in good enough shape, but given a 3 point -8 line in 16 games i'd call it a blessing if he got 2 instead of 1.
